Any similar to BBQ sauce? had a takeaway few weeks ago and they said they only do spicy wings with this sauce, tasted like BBQ so assuming the wings were pre made and this was put on top!

No not really, very spicy, salty with a strong garlic taste.
It's amazing.

Nothing like BBQ sauce.
It's made from Chili pepper paste - and can be described Warming to Scorching depending on your taste/heat resistance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sriracha_sauce

What's the brand name? Doesn't look like Huy Fong "Rooster" brand sriracha, and I don't recognise the label

There are loads of siracha brands around since the name cannot be trademarked.
Aldi has been selling loads of the proper stuff recently, I stocked up thinking it was only short term, then they got another batch in, still got some 2 month later.

Same sauce is available in Home Bargains for £1.49 - if you don't have a B&M store near you.

Adds an extra kick to pizza - I put lots of small drops of this over a pizza, and when cooked you can't see the difference between the tomato and the hot sauce - but can certainly taste the difference when you take a bite

Small bottles of nandos for a pound in poundland.

The Nando's "drizzle" that you get with the Humous poured on their garlic bread is to die for (its meant to be poured on the humous).
The little "drizzle" bottles are silly price - 50p but worth getting those two starters as you get the "drizzle" free.
So spend £3.50 to get a 50p bottle of drizzle and not even have it with the humous?

Hi
Thanks for the reply
I recommend two Namdo's starters
• Humous with drizzle
• garlic bread
but use the drizzle on the garlic bread - not the humous as
the flavour is out of this world.
May Gods Love be with you always.

I love this sauce - will pop back in to B&M, must have missed it at the weekend.
Anyone know if there is a Nando's thread going - so I can pollute it with OT comments about sriracha sauce
Hot deal!
