Been looking at these for a while. There usually around the £25 mark but it's available right now on a flash sale at £15.90. It's a movable wireless wifi camera for indoor use & has night vision.
I really haven't seen anything with the same spec for this cheap & the reviews seem to be pretty good. It's also free delivery!
There's an app for android and iOS which allows you to remotely view what the camera is recording at any time (provided you have an internet signal).
You can even speak through it to whoever's there.
Perfect for seeing what the kids/dogs are up to when your away or spying on the Mrs and freaking her out, although I'm sure it has other more viable uses...
You can also set it to email you if you get a break in etc.. Which is handy!
Before the gearbest haters start moaning I've never had any problems myself. Just don't expect a fast delivery (it usually takes 3-5 weeks) this is the price you pay for cheap items from China. Pay with PayPal and you are protected to an extent.

"Before the gearbest haters start moaning I've never had any problems myself." Same here. Allways seem to have a good service from gearbest. Maybe I am lucky.
Received this yesterday. Great job so far and was delivered in less than two weeks from nl

Strange. Mine works fine! It was easy to connect using the instructions supplied & works perfectly on the move. I was able to view it on 3G on my way back from London 250 miles away. Maybe it's a issue with your router setup?

Mine came today. It wasn't what I was expecting. The Sricam app is garbage, I had issues getting it to connect to WiFi, but managed to eventually. Then I had more issues with motion detection, it was constantly sending alerts to my phone with no movement at all. After a lot of messing around I got the motion detection to work. You can only view the live feed when you are on the same network so as soon as you leave home it doesn't work.
Tinycam didn't work as I expected either, after messing with settings for a while I got it to work viewing the live feed but that's about all you can do with it. Movement of the camera doesn't work, audio doesn't work and motion detection only works with the app open and viewing the live feed. Again only works on the same network.
I expect you would have to set up some type of port forwarding on your router to be able to view away from home which is quite difficult for the average user.

You may have more luck with pan & tilt using the android app, Onvifer. PT works with my crappy kkmoon camera, where Onvif Device Manager and apps like Tinycam don't, albeit that the directions of motion are flipped in my camera and onvifer doesn't have the option to invert them.
My camera only supports audio over its P2P apps, which look to be based on the same software, so it wouldn't surprise me if the sricam is the same.
I would suggest testing the camera to ensure that it actually at very least enforces password protection on each of the ports you intend to forward for remote internet access, if you don't wish it to be viewed by anyone with the inclination to do so. Although, of course password protection isn't that effective if it doesn't also restrict the frequency and number of wrong guess attempts.
I, for example have two 720p ip cameras with different firmware and apparently based on different hardware, both horrendously insecure on a variety of their ports. Given access to the ONVIF port on one of them you can obtain the rtsp stream url complete with password, and on the other just open the rtsp stream URL directly with a made up username and password. Alternatively, both provide a snapshot URL on port 80 that doesn't use a password at all, just reload the page continuously to view as a stream.

Update - the night vision is pretty impressive too! Tried it out last night.. It was pitch black by eye but showed up nearly as good as daytime on the camera!!

e4kennder, can you elaborate on how the saving of video files will work with Tinycam and IFTTT please ? I assume the email will trigger a IFTTT recipe (does one already exist), and is there then a way / process to then save historical video I assumed stored on the SD Card to Google drive ? Is that a feature of the Tinycam app, or the camera, both ?

Thanks OP, I've gone for it, black one with UK plug £17.12 . My first foray into IP cameras so will be interested to see what this little camera can do, how easy / difficult it is to set up and see what the results are. I'm hoping to set it up in my sealed / weathertight / glazed porch to monitor the porch front door and the cars on the driveway. From other security camera posts I have seen on HUKD I understand that light shine on the glazing may be issue, so have to wait and see on that one.

Glad to hear it £17.12 is still a bargain for this!
It's easy to set up & comes with instructions. Just follow them & you'll be fine. Should be good as a porch cam as long as the wifi signal reaches but failing that you can always run a wire. If you haven't already got a micro SD card I would get one. I got a 32gb one for about £8 off amazon. I believe you can also sign up to various online cloud services and stream to them if you don't want the SD card. Hope it goes well!

It arrived today, only took 7 days for delivery & for the money it's a pretty good camera. The app allows you to control it and speak remotely. HD quality is good. I'm sure there is better available but for the price this is pretty good! The flash sale is now over but I'd say it was even worth the full price. Especially good for someone who wants to try out an ip cam without breaking the bank. It would also be good as a baby monitor.

This should work on the Tinycam app and that supports cloud storage.

IVideon provide cloud storage with various subscription options depending on how long you need your recordings to be etc. (Prices start at free if you just want access to the last 24hours - I think). There are now some cameras which have the iVideon software built in but I believe you can use any networked camera (I've not tested that myself though).

Yeh Tinycam for Android is AWESOME! Or you can always set up email alerts and then use IFTTT to back up to Google Drive etc? https://ifttt.com/recipes

A piece of advice, please do not use the voucher code MAXY, it increases the price of the cam instead of reducing it. You are better off without using the code.

I have just come home to find my first order from Gearbest delivered. It only took 6 - 8 days to arrive. It was delivered by Yodel and sent from a company two miles down the road in West Drayton. I'm assuming that Gearbest must use a local forwarding agent?

I swear the little **** been doing it. He's gonna **** himself when I shout at him from beyond the internet via wifi!
