The novelty does wear off quickly and it's annoying that the sounds are through the phone and not the BB8. But I still love the one sitting on my desk and occasionally push the button to wake him up so he can have a look around.

Still makes me smile. So well worth the purchase.

I can only echo previous commentors - I tried this out in a shop for five minutes and was pretty bored with it even before then. Seriously think about what else you could do with that £90 before splurging on an impulse buy on this.

Get Sphero 2.0 more faster, I had BB8-Sphero (starwars) and Sphero 2.0 sold them both for incredibly cheap pricr

FYI, my kids are still having fun with it and they got it for Christmas so might be worth it for some. If you're not too bothered about the SW branding, the regular Sphero has the same internals and is as programmable.

I'm assuming these are flawed or pants
? My local CEX has more second hand ones than PS3 pads

I was going to get this, until I found out that all the sounds that it makes come from the app, and not the actual unit itself. :disappointed:

Could they make it any smaller ???
