Doing xmas over Oct, Nov and Dec income cripples people way into the new year, start as early as one can, I know someone who has plastic storage box for gifts and cards in the cupboard they input and output year round and are handy to know if you forget or get caught out short notice (doing this means they dedicate their income circa Christmas on their grandkids) that's a HUKD that can't even be posted.


To berate someone for planning (& thus budgeting) goes against the very ethos of HUKD - to save cash!

So let them get on with it without snide comments, really not warranted. :smiley:

I just ordered 5 (table cameras for my wedding!) and had 2 confirmation emails. I wouldn't be pleased if they were to then say that there was no stock, so it had to be cancelled.

Curry's are a well established organization, unless this is an error, it would be ridiculous that they didn't have a process in place that prevented purchases once stock at that price was gone.

More likely a way of marketing and drawing people to their website!

Trouble with deals on Hotukdeals is you have to be very lucky to get the goods unless you are monitoring the site 24/7. I probably only get 50% of the items I order actually delivered and often have to wait ages for the refunds on those I am unlucky on. But then perhaps that is half the fun :-)

Good price, but I have not used my compact camera for years, now I just use my phone to take photos.

Just spoke to chat they confirmed the price is correct but it's end of line clearence and they have no stock so all orders will get cancelled and they will refund everyone and remove it from the website

Good for kids but the specs are a little basic, my old Cybershot will do. Pains me to think I paid £270 for it about 10 years ago.

This isn't so bad a colour if you wear sunglasses :sunglasses:

This is good for a child and better than the kiddizoom cameras but don't expect very good photos. Most smart phones have better cameras than this.

People can buy gift any time it doesn't matter it's all about budgeting. I have a neighbour who buys presents 1 month after Christmas as early as January.
