Fair to say these bundles haven't been fantastic the last 2-3 months however as far as I'm aware this is the cheapest this game has ever been on PC so I thought it might be worth posting even if you don't value the bundle aspect. You'll also get 6 other games unlocked on September 2nd however there's no way to know what they'll be before that date; you can check previous monthly bundles to see what sort of games you can expect.
SOMA is a sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games, the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is an unsettling story about identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human.
The radio is dead, food is running out, and the machines have started to think they are people. Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered an intolerable isolation and we’re going to have to make some tough decisions. What can be done? What makes sense? What is left to fight for?
Enter the world of SOMA and face horrors buried deep beneath the ocean waves. Delve through locked terminals and secret documents to uncover the truth behind the chaos. Seek out the last remaining inhabitants and take part in the events that will ultimately shape the fate of the station. But be careful, danger lurks in every corner: corrupted humans, twisted creatures, insane robots, and even an inscrutable omnipresent A.I.
You will need to figure out how to deal with each one of them. Just remember there’s no fighting back, either you outsmart your enemies or you get ready to run.

June was brilliant! Rocket League, The Forest, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. All those games individually worth more than the price of the whole bundle

Last one of these I got was June and my god am I glad it was. July and August were trash. Not too sure about this either. Heat for those it does interest!

Only game that I'm interested in is Poi, but even that is only an early access title. It reminded me a bit of 'A Hat in Time' which is taking an eternity to be finished. First the release was Q3 2013, then late 2015, then Q4 2016, now its 2017. Good grief.

While I don't think it's for me (I passed on the opportunity to buy when it was discounted on the PSN), this is a good price for SOMA, regardless of the rest of the bundle.
Indeed it does - I rather wish that I'd be in touch with Kickstarter at the time! Still, Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained: Ritual of the NIght are enough for me to count Kickstarter as a force for good in my mind.

I already own this, having bought it after the sadly failed Kickstarter, and it plays very much like Super Mario 64 (virtually identical moveset and all), so if that's the sort of thing you're after, then I'd highly recommend it.
It may be in Early Access, but it's got quite a bit of content to it at this point. 5 full worlds, each with 8 challenges, plus hidden collectables... and they keep adding to it as time goes on, so there's no telling how much bigger it'll get.

I'm gutted. First month I've subscribed for and, apart from Van Helsing, I've not heard of a single one. Last month there was Satellite Reign and Kentucky Route Zero which I both really fancied playing :disappointed:

It's never worth getting the monthly bundle if you are not interested in the game they reveal day 1. It's usually the biggest game of the bundle.

The Humble Trash & Treasure Bundle. The selections are incredibly divisive, the only upside is it floods the marketplaces with bargains.

Worth it for SOMA alone. Heat.

Yes, this is the only monthly I've purchased and was very happy with it. Unfortunate that nothing since has tempted me to try again.

Just to let anyone know, if your'e contemplating buying this game, do it. I loved it and really trying to find anything similar to play. I wish it was longer though. I got it recently when it was on a deal for the PS4 so can't speak for the PC version but the story will be the same and that's worth playing on any platform in my opinion.

Been playing Poi today. Its a fairly fun little game but I get the impression is can be completed fairly quickly in its current form, I hope they add a bunch more levels and objectives. So much of the game feel too easy with little challenge and it does have some bugs, in the first moments of the game I was able to actually jump outside of the game environment and spawn at the end of the first level.
I did this since that game is designed in such as a way that you can jump to a wall/slope, slide down, jump again (gaining a little more height each time) until you reach the top. Another bug I've encountered (and a bug which is not fixed yet) is with the boss on the 2nd level, simply put it cannot be defeated, I spent ages try to beat the thing but nothing worked, I then found out it was bugged which sucks.
I plan on finishing the other two levels tomorrow. It is a fun little game and definitely worth a quick play if you purchased the Humble Bundle but its not worth picking up right now for £10.99.

If you wait until Tuesday 6pm you can purchase the lowest tier of the new Humble Bundle (priced at $1) which will include a 10% off voucher for the Humble Monthly deal.
So you can get the Humble Monthly and 3 extra games for $11.80 instead of paying $12 for just the Monthly deal.

It's worth mentioning those vouchers are only applicable for first time subscribers, everyone else will still get the same price.

I wrote some stuff here about the subscription and discount but misread what I was quoting so I've deleted it.
