Personally, I think rhinopaul needs reporting to the lobster humane society to some such organisation, he's obviously got some grudge against lobsters subjecting them to all sorts of unnecessary torture before finally eating them

I haven't tried Waitrose small lobsters.
But in general the problem with these smaller Lobsters is you won't get much meat out of them. As a result they may seem good value against a larger Lobster (or Lobster tails), but when you compare the price against meat yielded the more expensive larger lobsters/tails often work out better value.
As a seafood lover what I find particularly annoying is we're a smallish island (no more then a few hundred miles from the sea wherever you are), yet seafood seems so much more expensive then on the continent. Particularly crabs, which we have plenty caught off our shores.

Now which one are you, are you jesting or being the same as snowflake75.
If its the latter then what part of "humanely kill them before being either boiled or grilled" didnt you get?

Too much negativism! See the bright side. You wouldn't want to eat them alive!
Had them a couple of weeks ago and they were delicious! I was even lucky enough to find one with 'lobster caviar". Bonus!

Firstly, by answering the first question of how you know they are boiled alive by stating that all lobsters are boiled shows your ignorance and secondly you need to read more carefully and understand what has been written before coming back with nonsense about grilling them before boiling them as that is not what I wrote.
To make it more clear for you. You can also grill them so there goes your first theory. You can also humanely kill them before they are grilled or before they are boiled.
If it wasnt for the fact you have been a member for a while I would say you was trolling

It seems like overkill. Grill them. Then kill them (humanely). Then either boil or grill them.
Don't they get killed by the first grilling?
Maybe if they then survive the (humane) killing, they have to be boiled or grilled again!
Wow, some Canadian lobsters must be really tough!

How do you know that its boiled alive? There are other methods and unless you are a vegan then almost for certain some meat product or by product has been gained through a poor animals death.
Even if you eat eggs from the supermarket you are part of the cause of chick culling where they are put through a grinder whilst alive due to surplus requirements.

its whole lobster ...not like the lobster tails or what people see in restaurant photos. most reviews seems to expect a clean cooked lobster meat in a shell
