These seem great value & have really excellent reviews, thought with the winter months looming ever closer & freshers starting uni in the not too distant future, these might be useful & not just for those on a budget. I use the 10.5 tog ones for my youngest 2 kids because the 100% spun bonded non-woven polypropylene cover makes them quite spill proof if you catch it quickly enough, obviously it will soak in eventually, but you do have a short period of time before it does.
They wash really well too which is amazing at the price, but if there is an incident where you don't want to wash it or can't, it doesn't break the bank to replace (I made the mistake of buying feather / down duvets for them, one had a vomiting bug, tried to wash the duvet & the smell of damp feathers combined with the lingering odour of sick made me throw them away & buy these instead)
