An offer of £2 off a single bottle at Tesco reappeared on my app this evening.

Tuesday evening is probably the worse night to upload receipts as most members are doing the same thing, hence why it's so slow & temperamental. I'm sure over time you have saved lots with Shopitize and it's a shame you will let this one offer deter you from continuing to use the app... :disappointed:

It is a shame that the offer was pulled early varunadas but they did say in the short terms and conditions that this could happen. It's unfortunate that you and your partner did not upload your receipts on the same day... :laughing:

It will be quite awkward to take back 6+6 bottles (6 for mine and 6 for my partner) which were on multiple receipts. I think I will make a withdrawal and stop wasting time on Shopitize. Their app is so unstable on Tuesday evenings which is when I generally sit down to upload in one go rather than do it every day you shop.

@vrunadas You could always take the ciders back to Tesco for a refund. They don't care why.

I purchased it on 26th and assumed that I can upload it till today. It is strange that Shopitize decides to pull it off early even though it was not shown as a limited one. I am going to report it. My partner is also fuming as well.

​It's good that you managed to upload your receipt once irrespective of it needing action. But Shopitize will only honour the cash back if you actually upload your receipt 6 times. It's not a matter of having purchased them on 1 receipt and only uploading it the once to qualify for all 6. If Shopitize decide to pay out then that's great.

Shame the offer didn't show up on your husbands account. My advice is keep checking the app periodically and if it reappears then start uploading your receipt again for the other 5... :laughing:

Same happened to mine. I brought all 6 on one receipt. It recognised 2 and 4 went to robots.. But overnight and it all came thru nps :smiley:

Thanks KiKai - I took a chance & purchased 6 bottles as I was able to scan the cider instore ok. I've submitted one & it's not been accepted so have sent it for review. I've also emailed them to say that I had purchased 6 bottles on the same receipt as I believed you were able to do that so hopefully they'll sort that out for me too......Fingers crossed, anyway...... :)I tried rebooting & logging off my husband's account without any luck, so just purchased another bottle (on a separate receipt) to submit to CheckoutSmart.

The offer unfortunately disappeared around 1pm. In Shopitizes defence they did have a short terms and conditions at the bottom of the offer. This is the first time this has happened in all fairness with regards to their offers. It's just a shame many members missed out... :laughing:

If they all go through, £3 from the Shopitize promotion (6x £2 back after 6x £1.50 spend) and £1.50 back from CheckoutSmart.

Unfortunately, I won't be getting this. I don't particularly like cider but I was hoping to give it to friends and family and it's disappointing how shopitize have acted with regards to this deal.

Bought 6 on 1 receipt. Uploaded 6 times. Under review with 2 declined saying duplicate receipt. Contacted them and awaiting answer!

£1.50 at mine too, only had the kiwi and lime though. went to checkout with 6 bottles and just asked the lad to put them through as single transactions with individual receipts (I made sure I had cash to pay for each one) - no problem! Gone through on sites okay too!

That's exactly what I do but with it being alcohol I went to a normal till too as i didn't want to wait for them to verify my age everytime. But with only 1 receipt it took no time at all... :laughing:

Well I'm pleased for that in both senses - ie lot simpler to buy on ONE receipt and quicker etc and doesn't penalise anyone who had innocently bought 6 on one receipt unaware of the rules of Shopitize multi-redemption offers [which are few and far between, and as evidenced by this offer a right faff, but well rewarded in this instance] ; but upset that Shopitize publish one set of rules and then play by a different set! [ie I lost out on £3 and time by being 100% legit]

It's why i prefer to use self serve tills I just get on with it myself. I do get some strange looks but im not doing anything wrong and ive got all the receipts to prove ive paid. With alcohol though I do just go to a normal till as its easier than keep calling someone over because of the proof of age issue.

Shopitize multi-redemption offers are normally like that livreg but on this occasion they have confirmed that all 6 can be purchased on 1 receipt and subsequently re-upload... :laughing:

I claimed five on unique receipts, all were accepted but now my 5th redemption has changed to 'under review'. Is this normal? Perhaps if you submit over 4 a day or something?

I just done this and took about 20 mins even thou I was at a express store so I wouldn't want do to this process at a large store . Staff thought they had deja vu . Also it was only £1.50 a bottle so £3 profit not including the combined Checkoutsmart offer :sunglasses:

Noob question: Can you claim 2 different items on the same receipt, i.e. milk and cider as oppose to 2 of the same product? BTW, the kiwi & lime flavour of this is delicious!

Some tips for you when shopping in Tesco and how to claim max £back...

#1They only stock the green-label/lime + yellow-label/passionfruit + red-label/pomegranate in my store and per the Tesco Groceries website - ie you only have 3 to choose/mix between.

#2 As it's part of their 3 for £5 offer while there were no green/lime left in my store on the regular shelves, when I searched the end of aisle offers area, mixed in with others in the 3/£5 aisle-end display were some!

#3 All 3 varieties are reported in the same way on Tesco receipt ie "OLD MOUT CIDER * £2.19"
so matching scanned barcode to a (unique) receipt shouldn't be a complication.

#4 To summarise the financial deal...

a) EITHER follow the published rules that Shopitize shouldn't welch on and buy 6 valid bottles individually on separate receipts (ie 6) paying £2.19/bottle @ Tesco = £13.14 out of pocket but 6x500ml (3 litres) of cider in pocket. Worth checking your first receipt is clearly printed before getting 5 more from that till printer!
OR as the OP KiKai has reported Shopitize are completely ignoring their published rules about multi-redemption offers and accepting the resubmission of the SAME receipt for each of the 6 £2 claims, then buy 6 on one receipt and pay £10 ie 3/£5 offer x 2.

b) If bought today 26/8 then claim 1 "free" bottle on CheckoutSmart (ie receipt line item @ £2.19) and 1p for entering prize draw = £2.20 due back (and you have 7 days to get around to claiming)
c) On the same receipt claim 1 x £2 offer on Shopitize = £2.00 due back. Best to do this on WiFi as have to watch/download their oh so smart little video animation [yuk, price of freebies!] you MUST do Shopitize claims while the offer is still valid, ie by Tue 30/8.
d) Repeat step c five more times [the Shopitize red# should have changed to 5 more claims by now] with the other 5 receipts = 5 x £2.00 = £10.00 due back [or with the same single receipt if hoping they treat you as they treated KiKai]
e) By now your Shopitize balance is well over the £4.00 minimum required to withdraw what's owed to you, so may as well get them transferring your cashback to your bank a/c [NOT to PayPal as there's a fee of 3.4% +20p = pointless when BACS is free!]
f) If you have more than one receipt and can be bothered, use those 5 receipts from step d to enter prize draws/1p claims on either Quidco ClickSnap or CheckoutSmart [personally I prefer ClickSnap as can claim % bonus for Amazon giftcards] = 5p due. You may want to split between the two sites and/or do it over a few days as there is a limit to how many you can upload per day [which temporarily escapes me].

So £13.14 spent and £14.25 due back = £1.11 in profit for taking those 3 litres of cider away and faffing around with all those receipt uploads
or else £10.00 spent and £14.20 due = £4.20 in profit!

re the "Under review" comments. As long as you've bought a valid product, ie one of the 4 listed varieties, Shopitize should come through for you and validate in due course and if they don't go into feedback and let them know their error - they've always fixed their errors for me, and sometimes fixed MY errors too - it's just a hassle to have to force it.
I would only GUESS that the robot MAY be failing to OCR the receipt details - eg their numbers - as each receipt may only be submitted to Shoptize once ever [from my experience Tesco are NOT good at maintaining their till receipt printers!]. Just off to Tesco to stock up before the shelves are cleared...

great find! i pay £1.98 per bottle as i get tesco Staff discount. so with £2 back on each bottle, i walked away 12p up after buying 6 bottles :-) never tried this cider before but as its free, it would be rude not to!

As CheckoutSmart are NOT associated with Shopitize you can use the same receipt to claim via both systems.
ie you buy a SINGLE valid bottle in Tesco - get a receipt today - and then submit that receipt to both Apps/sites.
so £2.19 paid to Tesco, £2.19 reclaimable from CheckoutSmart [in full once you reach £20, otherwise just 95%], and £2 due from Shoptize [claimable once they owe you £4+].

And then potentially go on to buy 5 more bottles, one at time, each on a single receipt, to claim on Shopitize... by Tuesday!

The listed 500ml varieties [which tally to the 4 valid on Shopitize too] are:
- Kiwi and Lime
- Summer Berries
- Passion Fruit and Apple

I saw this range promoted all over Manchester advertising hoardings yesterday so presumably this is part of their marketing push to either get people to try the product, or to fool the supermarkets into believing it's popular (at 0p/19p) so will continue to stock it.

You can scan at any stage (eg at home later)- as long as the offer is still showing in the App - BUT it's always best to scan BEFORE putting in your basket to be sure you really are buying a valid product, and that their App accepts you are. [You can always chase them later if you're sure it matches their product description, but for some reason their App isn't recognising the product packaging barcode - it does happen - but that takes a lot of time/hassle for small (hopeful) reward.]

I bet the supermarket's love these deals. 6 items needing 6 receipts. Also a pain when getting say 12 items, needing 8 receipts and trying to remember what goes on what receipt for each cashback site. Took me ages the other day. Staff kept coming over and asking if I was OK!
