Yes it is 4K.
BT UHD works fine, as does 4K YouTube. I have this tv.
Downsides are no HDR and it won't work with 4K blu ray players. But for this price it's a steal.

I think he/she means it's fake 4K as the panel can't truly display 4K, however I can't find any evidence that's true. Samsung were the ones saying make sure your TV is UHD and not fake 4K as employed in some LG TVs.

it does have hdr with the latest update. it is genuine 4k but not genuine full hdr as its an 8 bit panel, will still look good tho
Don't believe everything you read on there, for a start that's a PREVIEW and they get it wrong from the off by stating it's an edge lit - wrong it is direct backlight.
Good price for a decent TV tho'

Got a 40" version of this for my bedroom the other week, no remote and a scratch on the stand for 224. Was advertised at 274 in the Milton Keynes store but got £50 off for the above two faults. Went in there the other day and now what I can only assume are ex display TVs had 50 off as "manager special"

I'm beginning to think that was a load of nonsense what I read before.
4K Blu Ray players use HDCP v2.2, which I didn't think this TV has, but it does. You just have to use the HDMI MHL port.

Blimey that is cheap. Might have to check my local store to see if they have any!
I bought the 1080P version of this TV earlier this year for £499 from JL so this is a bargain price!!!!
Thanks for posting OP...

Can someone please recommend a 40-43inch TV for gaming and sports? Not looking to spend much, 300quid tops probably.
Also, should I only look at those with 100hz refresh rates and above, as lots of the entry level TVs have only 50hz.

Been to check stock at my local Tesco Extra, they weren't the most helpful! They asked for a product barcode, the one posted by the OP is a reduced barcode and apparently will be different to the original.
How do I check local stores, what info do I need?!

Well after a 25 mile round trip I am told there is zero stock levels in the area and it is an online item only so if you would be so kind as to tell me where they are available. I did try stock checking on the phone first but nobody was available to do so. The kind lady in store checked for me and the nearest 25 Tesco Extra stores to me all show zero stock, I live in the North East. I also tried Manchester and there is no store showing any stock at all. Now trying around Sidcup and there is no store in that area with any stock either. Checked well over 70 stores in total.
Would be nice if people put up a blanket statement that facts matched that statement.
