For that price I wouldn't expect HDR or 4K. Great deal.

Will no doubt stop working after 2 years. We bought a 39" Samsung smart TV 2 years ago and it has just stopped working. We paid £279 from Argos. Planned obsolescence with these products. Don't assume because it's Samsung it is a quality product!! Worked fine then about 4 weeks ago a dark shadow appeared on bottom half of screen. Then last weekend completely black but we still have sound.

My 40" is working just fine at 3 years old, and I bought it used. All the Smart features like the apps and media streaming from PC are still supported too.

Well I have had my Samsung for well over 10 years, no sign of any issues. Waited for it to break so I could buy a bigger one. gave up, bought a Sony from Costo, hate the Menu system, hate the mounting system (not vesa ), good telly though. Samsung relegated to Conservatory, and sits quite happily in 35c heat in summer. Bullet proof.

Anecdotal evidence, but glad you have a brand you trust.

My mams LCD Samsung is around 7-8 years old, used everyday for hours on end still working fine. Keep meaning to get her a little bigger in LED but she said no point lol

I bought a 65" Samsung a few years ago it was very expensive and had a problem with the screen after owning 13 months. Samsung basically said no luck 12 month warranty is finished .
Will never buy a TV made by them again in that basis ...

Samsungs are mint last years. But if this is a 5 series(lowest) the picture won't be very good. Get at least the 6400 series up. Mine is 8500 top one and picture class but you will pay closer to £1000. I watch tv for hours every day so doesn't bother me paying more when it will last years anyway.

Guessing it is unlikely to be a 2016 model, so best guess, if the small photo is accurate, is this is last year's UE43J5500 Smart TV ?
Great TV, apart from there being no SCART sockets.

If it is the one with the thin silver bezel (and very nice looking it is) then it is still £300 in the local Dundee store.

If the nitpickers among you want to criticise, put up a deal of similar value elsewhere please?
How can anyone criticise a telly at this price? This is a super deal for a cheap telly with the warranty of a big brand!
