I wouldn't have thought ones sold directly from Amazon would be fakes either, strange comment to make.

I also spotted this, last night....order it and it arrived today.. I'm currently running H2testw to check it's genuine. Currently writing at 21Mbytes/s so I guess that sounds about correct but I'm no expert.
Someone on here explained how they thought amazon fakes (aftershave, but same applies) get in to the system... someone buys genuine amazon item but send a fake return back and gets a refund. I guess this is possible but not sure how this would work at any significant volume as you can only return so many items before Amazon block you.

Not if its sealed and in tamper proof packaging, as most Micro SD cards are (you cant undo the packaging without ripping it apart). They put those back into new stock if they are returned.
Things that are in boxes (like phones), which are easily re-sealed are checked, then added to "warehouse" stock.

Purchased one from Amazon 4 days ago at this price,I just presumed it was the standard price.
I can confirm this comes with an SD adapter which is not shown in the pictures.

I brought 1 from ebay what a mistake I made! 2yrs of pictures all gone from my phone, said it was 128gb turns out it could be just 4gb?!! it wasnt dirt cheap either.
I don't know where else to buy an sd card, read a few reviews for 1 selling on amazon and some of them was saying the same thing??

I bought a 128gb Samsung micro SD card with adaptor from mymemory and tested it. it's legit. at £24.99 worth paying that bit extra.

Search for a utility called H2testw it is great for testing all USB sticks and Memory cards.
Cheers for that. My phone also says it's too slow (Moto G 3rd Gen) when first put in, but in practice it's absolutely fine. I've not noticed much, if any, increase in lag. All 64GB show up too.
