Dispatched from & sold by Amazon. Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 weeks, so possibly a bit of a wait but in my experience Amazon usually send things out earlier, rather than later. I've ordered to put in the Note7 I've pre-ordered after Vodafone were unable to supply the iPhone they promised me.
just bought the EVO Plus for just over a tenner more. Double the speeds of this and great reviews. Still a good card though. heat

I've been using Samsung cards in a number of devices, the issue that many people have is that they buy a fake card with fake sizes through a third party seller on Amazon. These cards work find until you start writing past their actual memory size (often 1 or 2GB) and then begin to corrupt data.
If you buy a memory card on Amazon, always make sure it's from Amazon directly and not a third party seller.
I'm not saying this was definitely your issue but it is a very common issue that needs to be highlighted more often.
If you suspect your card may be fake then use h2testw to find out.

Well, I have to warn people, just removed mine from my S5. Very surprised as a Samsung phone, but got one from the recent Amazon deal on here and it worked fine for a few days but then my phone began acting oddly, crashing and freezing (I thought it was a few apps at first) and then I saw it was not seeing the SD card.
I m usually the first to warn folk about Sandisk cards in Samsung phones, so very sad that I have to do the same with these
You might get lucky, and it might just be the way Marsmallow works on the S5, ?

It's nuts that microsd cards are cheaper than SSD drives per GB, SSD haven't come down in prices in ages.

In this case its not about the size, even the 90mb/s ones are far far slower than an SSD. The there are microsd cards that offer 150mb/s+ read speeds that are more expensive and still dont come close to the speed of cheap SSD. They also wear out and fail significantly quicker (in terms of the number of rewrites they can withstand)
It might be plenty fast for recording video or using phone apps, but you wouldn't want to run a windows O/S off a microsd card.

Other than price, is there much benefit of using an Evo Plus over the Evo? (mobile phone usage, App / gaming storage)

They were all from Amazon direct, always suspicious of third party sellers & know how easy it is to clone cards so paid a bit more & went with them. h2testw showed them as being the capacity stated & even benchmarking them with crystal disk gave close to advertised speeds & matched what a few others had benchmarked.
They had to be genuine as one came direct off Samsung when I sent it to them as faulty!
