It's not a snap kit and its unpainted. I bought the x wing one in same range and its a dud. These revels used to be pre painted and snap together but I guess they cut costs. Get the first order kit with lights and sounds for a top tie fighter. If you must have Darths then go for this. "I have him now" heat added anyway just cos it's darth vaders tie fighter

You do realize Revell primarily make non-snap together unpainted model kits, right? They haven't "cut costs" for anything. This is simply a different kit than their pre-painted version. The sort you're talking about use the name "easy kit".
