I received mine today after less than 24 hours from ordering. It came in very good condition . It just a few very minor surface scratches on the lid, partly being glossy piano black . Mine was the newer i3 5005 processor with Windows 10

Looking for cheap 15" laptop for general use (browsing / office etc.) as a family laptop but the odd older game on the A6 would be cool I guess.

It's not stuck on Windows 8. Use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and make a USB stick, run the setup in Windows, don't enter a serial key and look at the bottom where it says 'I'm reinstalling Windows 10' and click that. It'll install and be activated. How do I know? I found this out by accident and have used it a few times. I can't see any other mention of it on the net. There are other ways but this is the quickest for upgrading and activating Windows 10.
might well only work if the previous owner upgraded. Worth a try with a refurb machine, though.

I'm another who ordered this and actually got the L50-C-20G - slightly faster i3-5005U 2GHz processor and Windows 10. Mine came in almost new condition. Argos are also selling the 8GB RAM version for another £20.

First I got had to go back because of a faulty wireless card (very smooth process with collect+). Second I received was the 20G model with Win 10 and a faster processor too. Very happy that there was a fault on the first. It can be a lucky dip but Argos are very good at taking it back with little questioning.
I got one of these, it arrived extremely dirty/ dusty and the screen cut out when pushed back. obviously wasn't very happy so went straight back and took 10 days to get a refund. I find with Argos/eBay its the luck of the draw as to the condition of the item, as others I have bought have been pretty much new.
