28 night cruise departing on 27th August 2016. Lovely time of year for Canada. Works out at just under £50pp per night and drink prices are fairly reasonable too on Cruise and Maritime. This is only for a standard inside cabin. You don't see that many cruises departing from Liverpool and for us up North is really convenient and also easy to get too from the train station (I walked with luggage when I went to Norway). Itinerary on screen shots, give me a second
Edit price now dropped to £1399 so links updated.
Reduced to £1329pp at Iglu

Fair comment - generally you are given a lousy least spacious room next to a stairwell or lift - paying for two persons albeit saving a tenner on this occasion - no other person to feed . Too often you are fobbed off with a non realistic explanation about costings etc. all a bluff to me, they just lost a client. Am happy to pay a premium but double is not fair , I accept the fact they may only have twin rooms available. I would rather have a client than an empty room.
sayitasitis
11 Aug 162#27
A single cabin it is £2,649.00 how is it single travellers are so overcharged, virtually double, save a tenner. Families complain about the expensive costs in the School holidays but singles are ripped off 12 months a year.
kevinyork to sayitasitis
11 Aug 16#30
Because there are no single cabins. You are paying for one person in a twin occupancy cabin. Only a few ships have proper single cabins and then the price is around 1 1/2 the cost of a twin occupancy.

Cant see the point of being on a ship for that long with nothing to see and just having a few hours off of it every now & again.
Its like paying to go to prison with the odd exercise break.

Nice cruise, but old ship, and a 'mature' clientele, my dad has been on this ship and at 70 he felt he was the youngest on board!. he liked it though.

They used to have a interface that was easy to check how many cabins were available for any grade on any trip but that got taken away, harder to find the deals now before they run out..

I booked this about 5 months ago and paid around 400 more pp so this is a good deal for those wanting to go. the all inclusive drinks package is only £17pppd which is around £30 cheaper pd than most companies we have been on. it was refurbished completely inside 3 years ago and on you tube you can see the interior. reviews are around 3.5 out of 5 on most cruise sites citing the meals being the main thing that marks them down usually the variety being the issue. So might see some of you there if your lucky to get a month off!

Come on you are doing it a disservice it only started carrying passengers in 65. Seriously have a read right through the page it has seen some action including being blown off course in high winds at port.
