This stuff should only ever be used as a last resort as it will almost always mean that you will need to replace the tyre as the puncture is likely to be unfixable! Be warned!

Aweful products. Mean you have to replace the tyre even if it would have meant a cheap repair yet instead you have to buy a new tyre and replace.

If it gets you home , then it is worth it.
Punctures cannot legally be repaired in the wall , only if in the tread . A Puncture repair in the tread is only really good for up to 60 mph . So it always best to replace a punctured tyre . Even a used one , is better than a new tyre that had a puncture repair in it.

They are lying! To force you to buy another tyre. This stuff can be cleaned out. Tyre can be repaired providing no puncture to the side wall.

Then you are paying a qualified mechanic £20 an hour in labour to clean goo out of a tyre then paying again to fix a puncture.

Buy a space saver spare off eBay for £50 which is less than the cost of a new tyre!

I've never managed to get a tyre repaired yet. Every time they tell me it's in the side wall, or if it's in the tread it's too close to the edge. Do you fancy changing a tyre on the hard shoulder, in the rain and in the dark? Especially on the offside. For £1.99 I'd say it's worth keeping a can in the boot in case of emergency.

It is white foam that rinses straight out. Takes 5 mins. Quicker than it takes a mechanic to scratch his ass. Stop being so melodramatic - I would hardly call the monkeys that repair tyres qualified mechanics!!

I used to commute on the M27 and picked up slow punctures about 4 times a year. I never once had a puncture that was repairable because it either went in at an angle or within 2 inches of the sidewall. Neither of which can be repaired.

Depends what the formula of the product is.Holts tyre weld can be washed out and if the tyre is still in repairable condition then it can be repaired but make sure you get the tyre checked straight away to make sure there's no damage to the tyre with driving on it under pressure.End of day it's only a product to really get you home and not to be used as a permanent fix.

Can anyone qualified advise if this would STOP a slow leaking valve...leaking from the valve seat (not coming from the actual valve)?

My tire will need replaced in about 6 months. But I was wondering if this would stop the leaking valve until that point?

My dad just got a valve replaced and they charged £25 at the local tire shop, which seems crazy expensive. So this would be a great saving, if anyone can advise if it would work for this purpose?

I don't mind if it destroys the tire as it will be replaced. At this price I think I will give it a go.
