Despite mixed reviews I thought this was a superb game. Great
price for a physical copy too.

When they say "from our online rental service" does that mean the cover is going to say rental copy or something?

No - their rental service sends out just the discs in a small plastic sleeve. The copy that they're selling here will be that disc, reunited with a box and manual that has been sat untouched in a warehouse somewhere

I paid £20 for this about month ago, after finishing it..I wish I hadn't tbh. Starts off ok, interesting plot, didn't mind the cinematic clips but just became frustratingly boring after a while, didn't care for the characters in the end.

A fun game. I wanted to like it more but something didn't quite click for me.

My main issue with this game is:
- if you don't bother hunting for collectibles, you will power through in no time
- hunting for collectibles is horribly dull
That's actually a bit harsh, it's an enjoyable game. But I'd actually be holding out for the inevitable £10 price point

A lot of people were commenting quite soon after release that because the campaign is reasonably short and doesn't really have amazing replay value, the price would dive bomb and based on that theory it should be very close, if not £10 already. Seems to have held it's money a little longer than people expected. Makes a change from most current gen games that are mostly open world. I prefer linear with a little bit of exploration but never had the time for Fallout, GTA, Just Cause, Farcry etc. Already ordered Bioshock. A perfect example of a linear game with some nice exploration.
