Ideal for dividing up, bashing and making into escalopes.
Whizz up some breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic etc for the crust.
Fry in butter.
Serve with new potatoes and veg.
Yum.

No it isn't. It's just a different way of cooking it. I'm not sitting here saying "this is the only way to cook tenderloin" or is that it's the best way. It's just a way.
I've done it myself when Aldi had a similar deal on, and it's came out really well. It might not be your first thought when buying tenderloin but while the price is low, it's worth an experiment. It comes out similar to Char Siu. Fork tender, nice a moist, and best of all you can put it on while you're at work.
Get a few slices over a bowl of white rice and some steamed veg Asian style. Or you can have it with roast potatoes/chips again whatever. Bon appetit.
You couldn't do it with shoulder, the rendering fat would dilute the broth. (you could skim it I suppose) the cooking juices on the rice is the best part,

That's as daft as putting fillet steak in a curry!
Precisely the reason for not buying it then, shoulder meat is way cheaper and has more taste as well as being better suited to long cooking.

Flavour. It's loin it doesn't taste of anything. Fair enough if you're wanting lean protein to sit alongside your low G.I vegetables, but not everyone is.
Marinaded and cooked low and slow, this will taste a hundred times better than medallioned and seared.

Why would you want to take the most tender, fat and gristle-free cut that exists which will flash fry in a moment, and "boil" it for hours? :-(

Seriously? It's pork, there's more chance of it being vegan!
