Not sure what a Quick Ball is but this is £5 cheaper then most places. If you have silver or gold membership it goes down even further.

Had a look and it turns out the Quick Ball pre-order bonus is a serial code that gives 12 Quick balls in game, seems a bit crap tbh. Was hoping it would be a similar pre-order item like the Pokeball holder they did with X and Y.

Wow, after all these years of playing the pokemon games I never knew that  thanks

nope. best used first turn, if it fails, use ultra balls. interestingly, people often think that repeat balls are for when you've had a high number of turns, which is not the case, theyre for catching pokes you've already caught.

silver and gold partners get a discount. the figure doesnt bother me. from my perspective they look like happy meal toys. im not a pokemon nut so wont really appricate them unless they have at least amiibo quality constrution. steelbooks however just look nice on the shelf. im a silver member too so its only 37 quid ish

How do you become a silver/gold member?
Do they just give it to you based on what you've bought previously?

If you use a quick ball on your first turn you get a capture rate of 4, after that it's a capture rate of 1. You can get them in game anyway, so it's a nice little bonus rather than something that should swing this deal for you really (pokeball)

Hmm, I thought it was a pokeball that worked better on quick pokemon?

Ahh, that makes more sense. For some reason it didn't click with me that this was the Steelbook version. So you are right, it's a good deal.

Yeah but I'm a fan of collecting meaningless stuff, so I don't mind little things like that for the price of a couple of pints

Have you seen it? The figure that came with the X and Y steelbook looked like something you might find in a kinder egg, albeit slightly (emphasis on slightly) larger

Are you trying to be smart because if you couldn't tell, this is the steelbook edition ....lol

I have this on preorder at GAME for £45. Is the figure worth the extra £5... hmmm

Yes it really is

Yes I've just seen that it doesn't come with the figure so not the best deal.
I don't think you can compare the steelbook version price to the non steelbook version though? So the price is £44.99 including figure or this not including the figure. I'll stick with the figure version having realised this doesn't include it

Not really, Gameseek have it for £31.99 (if you can trust them not to screw the order), 365 Games have it for £32.95. Even the Nintendo Store have this for £39.99 and that comes with a figure. This seems to be quite expensive in all honesty.

Still cheaper than elsewhere. I'm calling this a decent deal.
