I brought myself a ps4 and handed down my 5 year old boy my old slimline PS3, that way there is a plentiful library of games for him still to get for it, and I don't have to worry too much about him breaking it, although surprisingly he has looked after it quite well, so will let him keep it until it drops then upgrade it when the time is right!!

I have a mint White PS4 I picked up a while back in a Tescos deal. - Worked out I paid £180 for the console alone.
After considering whther to spend a further £200 on a PC graphics card I have decided I will use the cash and my PS4 to upgrade to Neo when it arrives.
I tried to get good info on PC graphics card but there is too much mis-information about different companies out there who generally make things up and take sides. Screw PC gaming. LOL
Console FTW, Especially with neo - I'm expecting to see some medium res 4K games on offer and already have my PSVR pre-ordered. Again from Tesco.

I guess you could say it equates to £200 for a PS4. IF it were the 1TB then that would be hot. As it stands still going to wait. I reckon we will get the £200 1TB drop.

I don't see value in adding an extra 500gb for £30. If you were to consider an upgrade, the logical thing would be to use that £30 towards a 2TB HDD which is a more realistic sizing for the PlayStation 4.
