I'm on my second one. They are good and as long as your careful can be used everywhere. The only problem is it has a sealed battery and after about a year it only lasts 10mins. Also it has a charging stand and cannot be used whilst in it so it can only be used as a cordless trimmer.

Yes you can.
Had one for years.
The only thing I would say is that as it's two sided machine, one side stops working, battery connection issues.
Philips were aware of the issues and replaced it immediately.
