These may be cheap but have to say no thanks as these boulders mislabeled mangoes are pretty awful for anyone that's had the pleasure of a Pakistani Chaunsa mango with its sweet sorbet flesh.

Unless the mango is yellow all over its not a real mango.
Everyone knows the best mangos are Indian or pakistani

Agree all mangoes are not yellow when ripe but these tesco ones are stringy inside & usually tangy. The yellow variety I'm assuming must be like those from heaven because they're another worldly. hahaha love em

Current price for mangos in Aldi is 2 for £1.49 (75p each); Galia melons 69p.
This is not really a bargain.

Not everyone is near an aldi n even if they are ,some of us have young children and find tesco door delivery easier and convenient then dragging a pram full of melons and mangoes

back in china we have these things all over the roads and they are as common as apples. if only they had some durian fruit for that price.
Tesco mangos are not as good as philippine mango are super sweet, pakistan ones are not that bad either, much better than china. would be interesting to see the weight of these

There's a way to get yourself a cheap durian fix. Take one large onion, place in an airtight ziplock freezer bag, place bag on a sunny windowsill or in the greenhouse for a fortnight or so to allow the onion to go nice and soft and slimy, open and enjoy the aroma and texture of durian to your heart's content.

But Tesco fruit is pretty much the worst fruit in the world, so I'll be passing.

Tesco must be getting desperate now. They are even copying Aldi's super six. They lost my loyalty when they were charging £1.50 for three peppers while in Aldi and Lidl the same ones cost 75p. They will fleece the UK public as soon as they get the opportunity.

That's a pretty valid reason. If they are willing to double their margin on veg (probably the cheapest product category in the store)
Imagine what's happening with stuff like fairy liquid and washing powder or even pasta and olive oil.

You don't need to imagine, you can compare product prices with elsewhere. Picking one product and basing your entire opinion on that is not very educated

If tesco think they can get away with selling something that has an rrp of £1 for £5 they will
they have been bumping rrp's for years i stopped shopping there a fair few years ago they just cant be trusted
you have to check every last price of things you pickup
ontop of that there's bad dates on all of tesco's stuff same for asda
e.g. something that has a good 2 weeks of date in other stores has 1-3 days in tesco and asda
ontop of that tesco's quality of home brand products changes from week to week as they change suppliers (new recipe)
e.g. we got this for 1p cheaper from the new supplier and it has 30% less meat than the product you got last week and tastes like straw and is 50p more, lots of stuff in aldi is made for the german market that wouldnt touch alot of the stuff tesco try and sell
aldi if you pickup something without comparing the price your not going to be charged tripple the going rate
which happens at tesco with lots of stuff
saying that though i have noticed that aldi are settling into the uk market and bumping prices slightly on some things
20 years ago or so something that was lets say £2 in a cornershop
was i dont know 60p in tesco these days you could well be charged £3 in tesco thats £2 in the cornershop
