I can confirm having done a lot of research that, as others have said, this is a Panasonic in name-only.
Has been posted before at £300 as a "Celcus" at Sainsburys. 55" version posted very recently as a "Digihome".
Reports are mixed! Some people angrily stating that of course it is rubbish with no supporting evidence, others posting detailed info as to why they are rubbish / break easily / have innate problems, but then there are the others who say they are fantastic and good value.
The classic product with lots of 4 and 5 star reviews... But also lots of 1 and 2 star reviews.
In any case, certainly our local Sainsburys still has this exact model in stock - but branded "Celcus" - for £300. It was also around at £279 as a "Digihome" recently.
Please do do your own research though. Oh Accrington Stanley just scored in the 30th minute of extra time!

I have done a bit of research and whilst it looks like the digihome, I think this is 100hz whereas the digihome is 50hz?

Although I own 1 of these and take all bad reviews in mind I find it great viewing for all aspects be it soaps, films on a kodi device even better 4k from Netflix and sport I take that price is the issue and in that case my budget led me but an alternative is the hisense model which is £329.99 at argos at the min I think and they seem to have great reviews also not lucky enough budget wise for a higher end model with the same spec

I think the poster's message conveys this clearly - the 55" model of this TV. You can understand that?

Celcus = brand name under which Vestel TVs are sold mainly in Sainsbury's. Same as Technika in Tesco, Bush at Argos etc. etc. when it comes to large-screen TVs.

Good price for Panasonic. Better to pay a bit extra than settle for Blaupunkt, Bush, Seiki or similar.

The only thing Panasonic about it is the badge.

...Which coincidentally are other Vestel brand names... TVs would be identical to this one... I guess your quote is tongue-in-cheek?!!

It's vestel, plug a pc into it and it tells you. This tv also supports active 3d...which works pretty well.

Not voting this cold but you're basically paying a premium for badge. Coop had the exact same TV with a Digihome brand on it for £379 a couple of days ago and that was for a 55 inch.

A 55inch would not therefore be 'exactly the same'

I have the 42" version of this which i purchased a few months ago with 3d tv also.....the only negative thing i can tell you about this tv is the fact that panasonics interactive online apps and layout is terrible - it has limiter apps including netflix but has no amazon for example if you want to watch prime tv from there and no bbc iplayer or any other channel player actually....so not what i was expecting -on everything else i cant fault it!

According to various sources, none that I know are official, this is a vestel panel from Turkey. Again there are no facts or figures that this is a negative point for the TV but everyone seems to slate the 400B.
Opening post
Great brand and 4k smart TV under 400 quid.
