It's not available online.

None in Cheadle Heath, Stockport. They had a 4000mAh flat one for £5.99 and an 1800mAh intempo for £2.99 which I'll give a try...

I bought 3 of these for the kids stockings last Christmas so I'd be surprised if stores still had stock....If it's any consolation for those who haven't found them instore, all 3 of them stopped working within about 10 - 14 days of use. One didn't work from the start and the other 2 stopped working not long after - hence I returned them for a refund. I suppose it could have been a faulty batch :sunglasses: but IMO save yourself the hassle and give it a miss if you do find then - obvs I can't speak for the newer/current model they're selling.

None on mine (Bedworth). Just the 5.99 version and a couple different ones (1800 and 8000mAh)

Why don't people just phone the nearest shop and ask if they have any left?
drnkbeer to Gallus
3 Aug 16#33
Because more often than not, if you phone a shop about a very well priced item, the staff member who answers the phone will probably take the item instead. Better to go and see if they have any, then they can't take it from you. It might sound awful not to trust anyone like this, but considering what I've seen in some places and on here (where people literally clear the shelf just so no one else can have any).

Dont think they do mail order - must cost them £millions in lost sales. Never seen a store

You can't. When the OP said "available online", he was either lying or downright idiotic. I like to think both.

Remember 4000 mAh is the capacity the battery will hold. It will not give all of it to the phone, as 20-40% will be lost during the charging process. Still it will get you out of a scrape. Wonder if the cells are replaceable.

Why bother replacing them, just buy a few of these at £2.

4000 MaH should give you a full charge on iphone, prob a bit more. I have a 6400 and my z3 is 2800, and I easily get two full charged from it.
also for those want the most from a charge power your phone off, its the phone being on that draws power while charging, that makes it like lost power. I would expect to lose 10% - 15% the majority of that will be from phone power draw and circuit loss too.
If your losing 40% though i suggest your powerpak is faulty.

This looks like the older version optimum ones, they changed the design to be flatter. The only ones reduced appear to be the 1800mah ones at £4 a piece. Good if you can find the older stock!

Same as mains supply I suspect @ 1% per minute from flat.
adamsko89 to Faisal007
2 Aug 16#7
They all take about the same time unless one has a higher amp output. It's how much charge they can give that differs. This should charge it 1-2 times depending how much you use it while it's charging.
princeprecious to Faisal007
3 Aug 16#13
Not very long, may be just a couple of min...
but if you still need an extra charge then you need to spend extra time, which depends on how much extra charge you want...
