i know how a lot of you love your O2 refresh deals
The new ongoing offer applies to the airtime payments of the plan, and is valid on up to 20 connections per customer. For example, a plan with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 30GB of data would cost £28 per month rather than the usual £35. The £7 saving adds up to £168 over a two-year contract.
Discounts will be applied after the customer has taken out an additional line. They just need to text LOYALTY to 21500 within 28 days of activating a new connections
Also not forgetting get the usual O2 priority if with them
Most are interested in O2 refresh deals for handset only. But this offer is only on Airtime plan and not on handset

I'm looking to move over to O2 but with Sim only and looking for deals for the misses and me. That 30gb and unlimited everything else would be ideal if it meant I didn't have to take out a phone contract too.
Anyone know if that could be done with this ??

I'd be amazed if you managed to operate the door to get into the court.
I really like O2, I was with them for about 12 years until last summer when I had to leave. We moved to rural Devon and the only place I could get a signal was about 15 miles away, not exactly convenient! Always had good customer service, good mobile service and found the prices reasonable and amount of minutes and data among the best. I was on a refresh tariff too, not because I want new phones often, just easier once I'd paid for the handset to just pay the line rental but anytime I did want a new handset at a later date it wouldn't be a hassle.

I am looking for advice if possible from anyone currently with O2.
I was with Vodafone for 18 years and moved to O2 2 years ago due to Vodafone's horrific customer service and would never recommend them to anyone.
The problem I have is that my contract is now up with O2 and looking around at deals for possibly the note 7 and Vodafone are looking the cheapest but I could not go down that road again, when I was with Vodafone apart from the terrible service the provide I found the 4g they offered to be lightning fast obviously not as quick as EE but O2's 4G is the worst I have ever experience. When I check speeds with speed test net or speedchecker all looks fine maybe 10-12mb download speed but I am just unable to stream anything above 480p without buffering and I have tried my sim in 3 phones and a tablet.
I am not sure if I have a fault on my account that is causing the 4g issue, end of the day I would not mind staying with O2 if I could steam videos on youtube and others sites above 480p, anything 720p and above just buffers no matter where I am located in Glasgow area.

But. I was told on web chat it is valid on double up data

Find it cheaper from a reputable seller with 12 months warranty in 'As new' condition. Because of course I didn't check.
The sim card doesn't get charged for until you register it and top up, just go for cheapest if you have your own sim.

Bright enough not to buy a phone that's technology is 3 years old and second hand to boot. All because it has a popular little logo on it. You make me laugh

I think you are missing the point. They sell for more than that on eBay in worse condition, thus isn't a site to compare products, it's a site about the prices of a product, and if a product is sold at a better price than anywhere else people can vote it 'hot' or 'cold'. It isn't about debating if you like or dislike a product or a company. If you don't like something just click the minus or 'cold' button and carry on with your life. Nobody will ever agree which phone is best, but this shouldn't ever be the place for those discussions.
The fact is the product is still being sold by the manufacturer today, it isn't obsolete, the vast majority of the technology is used in every other phone in the world still. If you go out today to buy a new car there is a very good chance the technology is nearer 5 years old, models are updated less frequently as phones, but we don't refuse to drive them because they are not the 'latest technology'. We don't replace our TV every year, or our microwave, fridge, desktop computer etc every 12 months, it's a crazy obsession that is a little odd. Just because a phone wasn't announced last week doesn't make it old, especially if it's still being sold and still being bought by people who either don't have the money to waste on the latest tech, don't care for the latest tech, or have a life and realise a bargain when they see one - ultimately, it's a phone with features and does its job as well as most others out there.
It's refurbished, as new, that's not the same as some scratched used eBay find. It has a 12 month warranty, you don't get that on a secondhand product, because it isn't secondhand, the only person who thinks it is secondhand is you, and you are wrong. The only thing that points to it being refurbished is the retailer stating it. Usually these products are delivered, found not to be working on arrival, get returned (obviously unused but opened), get taken apart and repaired and then can be sold but as a used item. Many believe they have now been more thoroughly tested and checked than a product fresh off the production line - and they would indeed be correct.
You were challenged to find it cheaper, doing so would have awarded you lots of 'heat' and you would have been doing something positive. Instead, you are just SHOUTING IN CAPITAL LETTERS which never really looks good and using too many exclamation marks - which is usually a sign of immaturity.
I hope that helps clear a few things up for you.

Why don't you link us to ANY deal - given you like to chat and argue for no reason , it's a deal site, not a site for looking for arguments . You've had 2161 comments , been here for over 3 years - but still no deals . What's your agenda ?
