John Lewis are "price matching" someone on the new larger (with Freeview) Now TV smart box with a 4 month Sky Cinemas pass - only £19.95 at John Lewis. Normally £70 and on offer in Argos and Sainsburys for £35.
This looks like a mis-price as I guess they meant to price match the older smaller box. Also available in store (where I purchased mine).

I'm a complete novice with these things - can this box record, or does it only pause/rewind live TV?
amour3k to manic91

They only pause and rewind live tv, the newer Smart Box Now TV Boxes do allllll that what your really after .....
But this is more than sufficient for most peoples needs, etc.

The pass will last for 1 year from when you made the purchase.
You can add it when the other one finishes.
Don't forget to cancel when you get near to the end of your 4 months pass or they will take the following months subscription.
No you don't have to connect the new box to save it.

NOPE!, Now TV Box NOT required to save the Passes, but a valid Internet Connection is!, hehehe.
If you cancel your subscription it will not end your service until any pass you have expires. Once the service ends you'll keep an account with them but with no active passes or subscriptions and can simply start it back up at any time.

Do not do this either - unless you want to end your subscription.
If you want to keep it going, add another pass when there are less than 30 days to go before the previous pass expires.

Do not do this - unless you want to pay an extra £9.99 for 1 month.
Do as gfunk1851 says - add it when there are less than 30 days remaining of the previous pass.

You can add a new code when your current voucher has less than 30 days left no need to cancel your subscription or it will cause you no end of problems. I have been using vouchers and codes for 18 months with no issues yet
