Old style 3DS XL with free Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) (save £25) and £10 off code for sales over £75.00. CEX pay £11.00 for Animal Crossing.

Final price when applying discount and adding £3.00 delivery £82.00, then added £2.50 club points total £79.50. Going to sell the game to CEX so the grand total for me is £68.50. Just remember I had £2.50 in vouchers on my account, so this package would have been £71.00 after selling the game to CEX.

For the vast majority of people, hardly any, it has one exclusive game and a C-Stick which helps slightly on Zelda etc.

Improved 3D effect (it has eye-tracking)
Extra controls (second thumb 'nub' for camera control in some games and 2 more shoulder buttons but I don't think many games make use of them)
Runs some games more smoothly
Built-in NFC for Amiibo support

The 3d is more stable too, far more comfortable to view for longer. It's also faster, and better built. Not huge differences, but different.

Zelda: Majora's Mask and Xenoblade Chronicles. The new one has better 3d tracking too and allegedly runs games a bit smoother

Zelda: Majora's Mask works perfectly on old style consoles. Xenoblade is the only retail game that does not. It is unlikely they will make any more games "exclusive" as it kills the market for most.

For clarity, the New 3DS is much quicker in responding, loading etc. and the 3D is actually worthwhile using, rather than a novelty that you will turn off after a while. The 3D tracks your head, so you don't need to be perfectly positioned and it will move to ensure that you will see the 3D.

I am way happier with the New 3DS XL than the old one, but if you don't care about the 3D get the original as they play the same games, bar about 3!

They use a mixture of couriers - it depends on the size, value & delivery time of your order. It's usually Royal Mail for low value items & Yodel (yes Yodel) or MyHermes for the rest. They always seem to use Yodel for stuff sent to a store for collection.

Managed to grab one earlier for £75 after using £4 cc vouchers and used click and collect...needed the game for my daughter's birthday in a couple months.

The game would have cost around £20-25 brand new...so £50-55 for brand new 3ds xl is definitely a bargain!

I made the same mistake. Ring tesco on 08003234050, choose option 3, hold until you are connected and explain you ordered a 3ds xl which was supposed to come with a free game but didn't. Ask why you didn't get the game (give them the catalogue reference of 238-5389). They will then refund you the cost of the game (at 25 pounds). Just did this myself!
