Probably why they have not announced anything yet regrding the NX, so they can milk the 3ds for as long as possible.

Really nice deal for a great device, pick up a copy of Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire and you are good for a long time.

All New 3DS come without charger. Forgive me, it's my first deal
There's other games to choose from including the upcoming Pokemon Sun & Moon games
Or go for a cheaper game, eg. Zelda A Link Between World's works out as £131

Think your on about a standard 3ds with game and not a 'new' 3ds as the 'new' 3ds without game is £150 or something with the code and that with no game. This deal is much much better.
Haha oh my bad =] cheers for clearing that up. I wasn't even aware the was a non xl version of the new version.

In the description I did mention about the code and how it could be used with a charger and a game....

No knock on this deal of course, but I've got a feeling once the new Nintendo console is announced, DS units are going to have a huge price crash.
Really better off holding on to your money for a month or so.

Exactly what I'm thinking, I really fancy getting one but if the new NX or whatever it's going to be is a handheld then all current New 3DS stock are likely to have a price cut.
New 3DS prices have also been a bit of a mystery to me; the beginning of this year you could pick up a New 3DS model for around £130 and at the moment it's hard to find them anywhere below the £150 mark.

Yeah, no idea why people are still throwing their cash at these. They're not even what you'd consider as being cheap. Better getting a 2DS if you're set on playing the games. An old system which is about to be replaced whether Nintendo acknowledge it or not.

Great Deal but I have to wait for the pokemon ds in November.

My guess is that that only made a set amount of the "New 3DS" which stock levels are now low. If they don't make anymore, these last lot might even go up in price!

I think it's a bit of the Pokemon bug as well that have kept the prices up, like you say though I got hold of one through Boss Deals on Rakuten for £130. It's a great little device, Shovel Knight is a cracking game, but ultimately the non XL version was just a little hard to play on for me.
Hopefully the NX is a hybrid of the 3DS and the Wii U, the ability to play at home on the main console, and away on your handheld would be amazing imo. They're already half way there with the Wii U.

Anyone know what firmware the consoles come in?
Both the Smyth's and Tesco one mentioned in comments.
Thanks

Ok, thank you guys
Edit: what's the most valuable game for selling? Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are rare and I know will sell well. DOn't know anything about the others though :disappointed:

Funny you should say that. I got Alpha Sapphire with mine and also Smyths gave me 2 scratch cards for 2 unique Pokemon. Just sold it on eBay for £35, happy days :sunglasses:
