If you have Prime, watch before buying (if you can, as with anything).
First few episodes are good, it then becomes highly predictable after ep4. :disappointed: wouldn't buy it.
(that's just my opinion though)

It's a tough call, I watch it to fill the void of Blacklist, Elementary, Arrow, Dark Matter etc. The concept is interesting, but after you remove the inner dialogue "stuff" there really isn't anything there to watch. I certainly wouldn't pay for the box set, then again I rarely buy box sets...
Obviously individual mileage may vary.

could have been a trenchent critique of modern techno-society, but instead chooses to focus on the drug-taking and personality disorders of the protagonist and cheap cliff-hangers instead.
disappointing to be honest.

Series 2 they completely lost the plot, and the twist did they really think that was not going to **** off the audience? I feel the series has 'jumped the shark' already. Series 1 was excellent, Series 1 was The Matrix, Series 2 is The Matrix Reloaded, waffly incoherent psychobabble and has no clue how to capitalise and build from its predecessor.

I know this is HotUKDeals - I meant Michael Emerson in PoI was in Lost, I still can't get over what Lost did to me so I don't watch PoI as Michael Emerson reminds of Lost. :confused:
I watched a few more episodes since my last post and it really is just something to play in the background :disappointed:

Well if like a bit of nostalgia(depending on your age) watch stranger things some people say its a bit of a pastiche but roll on season 2
Pretentious rubbish..... I say this as a huge fan after the first 6 episodes but after that this show went far up it's own ass! Disappointing waste of an interesting premise.

I don't think so at all; especially since half of FSociety have reneged on their anarchic ambitions because they believe they have made society worse.
I think the show is excellent and they have handled a fairly technical subject matter without becoming a satirical Sneakers / Hackers clone.

I liked the start but now it feels like a show about mental health than hacking.
