Morrisons Fresh Cream Sponge £1.00 , usually £1.55.
Vanilla Sponge filled with Raspberry Jam & Fresh Cream
These haven't been on offer for a good while at this price, Morrisons in recent months have been charging £1.25 when they have been on offer, but looks like they are now back to £1.00 which is good news.

Still £1.55 yesterday in Cheltenham store which continues to seemingly ignore deals!

Been this price online, in Cwmbran, Newport and Ebbw vale stores for over a week now. £1.55 for the Lemon & Chocolate ones but £1 for the Raspberry ones,. If they are more in your store I would ask them why and point them to their own web site.

I noticed these today still at 1.55 but told they will be a pound tomorrow. I'll be going back this evening hopefully to pick up a couple for just £0.09p each if any of todays are left over (they always - in this morri's - reduce dated stuff to 9p.
Why 9p, don't ask me, I've asked the staff and even they don't know why!
Do they reduce items to 9p in yours? Just wondering if it's just our store.
Well here's the online link to the deal, and if I go into Morrisons again later I'll take a picture of the deal which is definitely in the Cwmbran store.
I'll keep an eye out. I'll be in Edinburgh store in the next week so I'll check the price there too.
Got a reduced butterfly cake instead for 50p.
Same size, so can't complain.

It makes me a little sad when it's cheaper to buy a cake than to make one yourself as homemade cake is SO much better and more joyful.
However I can't argue that this is a great price so heat added.
I'd still recommend making your own!!

I absolutely agree, I never buy shop bought cakes and always make my own. Lovelier tasting and look nicer!

Don't think so chocolate cake is still £1.55, maybe in a few weeks time as Morrisons tend to rotate the flavours on offer every few weeks.

Don't think this is nationwide. Still £1.55 at Kirkcaldy store.
Good price if you can get out at £1.00 though, so heat added.

Offer started Monday in store and online, it may be possible that your store still had some of Sundays cakes on the shelves which were £1.55, have another look later in the week they should definitely be a £1.00

These are not very good asda's own are better because they are made in store from scratch and allways fresh.

Wrong Asda Sponges are made elsewhere and brought into store already made and filled , they are just unpacked and placed in the fridge, this is the case with all Asda cream cakes.
Morrisons however actually fill the sponges in store with jam and fresh cream on a daily basis, the same applies to the majority of Morrisons cream cakes, you can actually see them doing the cakes in most stores.

Oh, I went in to get the other HotDeal, Yorkshire Tea 500 bags for a fiver. Noted, if you don't like Yorkshire they also have, on offer, PG Tips 300 bags (240 + 60 free) for £3.50. Nearly as good a deal as the Yorkshire (1p a bag) making the PG 1.2p a bag.
