Rooted with cm12 on you can't beat it for the money. Gamepad alone is £39.99 on amazon

This is running JellyBean (4.2) I think, so rooting up to CM 12/12.1 (at least) makes it "equal" to Lollipop (5/5.1). Although CM 13 (Marshmallow/6) has been here for a while, I can't see support for this box.

Does not output Dolby Digital/DTS via pass through only multi Chanel 5.1 if that makes and difference to anyone

No good for DC emulation (shield flawless in comparison). Yes I know the shield is more power just mentioning for anyone who was thinking of using it for that.

I've used it a few times and once set up properly didn't have any major issues over wifi. Only played F1 2015 on it but didn't notice any lag at all.
Price gone back up as well now btw
