Marks ( great name ) have reduced their spa towels twice now. Hand towels 2.99, bath towels 3.99 and bath sheets 7.99. There's still a lot of availability at the moment. GSM weight 600 and 100% cotton. Picked up some last week at the dearer price, and they feel really nice.

why buy hand towels when bath are 50% bigger and only £1 extra?
Surely it's cheaper to cut them in half sew the cut end and get twice the value?

If you're literally using them as a cheap and cheerful rag to clean oil off your hands then fair play but why would you buy premium towels when you want a rag lol!

Good idea for a single male at home in general. But can't see most women putting up with that, thats why it's cheaper to live alone lol

John lewis sell bath towels for £4 each which is their normal price. Why is M&S selling them at this price a big deal?

I have an airing cupboard full of new bath sheets, take too much room in washing machine, and with 5 adults plus regular guests bath towels are easier to wash and dry.
I have a sewing machine but don't fancy making bath sheets into hand or bath towels.

no john lewis dont but that doesnt mean you cant google some one that does
600gsm £4.80* , ofc downsides unless you meet the min order of £150 you have to pay a lot in shipping,
better deal, way to easy to find googing 600gsm bath towel, but no doubt always people moaning about terms
--
tho you could get them from £3.6* each if you buy them by the box full of 240 towels, but i very much doubt anyone needs that many towels

Now these are almost all OOS I can recommend the Dunelm Mill Egyptian cotton towels which cost nearly half M&S's prices while being almost the same weight (600 gsm / 650gsm).
£14.99 for an Egyptian Cotton Bathsheet against £24.00 at M&S. If you wait until the sale they'll be even cheaper !

Thanks OP - towels arrived in-store today - lovely quality, great price. Pleased to get them especially as M & S often oversell their sale items & I am always having orders cancelled by them. Cheers again!!
