This is not butter so should be removed from the title. It is 'spread'. AKA marge.

tried the norpack and another, forgot the name.both were totally un-spreadable unless you left it out for 20mins. tend to stick to lurpack lighter

I had tried it in the past too and it was hard to spread but I tried it again a few months ago and it's fine. I compared the ingredients to Lurpak and it's identical (with equal butter content). The did put the price up to £1.49 but it saves 51p and shopping around.

VERY regular deal somewhere - this is one of those products you should NEVER pay full price for as it's priced at a very inflated price ready for 'deals'.
Try the Aldi Norpack (about £1.40, all the time). Unlike most own brand Lurpak competitors this one has a similarly high butter content and we find it indistinguishable.

I got some and they came up at the till at £1.00 but in the fridge it says £2.00.
