Today I found smaller 200g jars of Lotus Smooth Caramelised Biscuit Spread in Poundland's Birkenhead store at £1. B.B. Aug 2017.
It's the first time I've seen this sized jar and, at £1, it compares well to the full size 400g jars sold in supermarkets.
Apologies, but I can't get the photo. to rotate

the spread is great for quick desserts.... I've even made an ice cream using the spread which is to die for!!!
You can heat it up and use as a sauce for waffles and plain cheesecakes...
I always make parathas spead this on top... roll it up cut in half and a scoop of vanilla ice cream... always looks like a posh dessert :wink:

I bought some the other day at this price. For the first time as everyone seems to rave about it. It's nice, on par with chocolate spread or peanut butter but I don't think it's as good as you all make out.
Heat added.

* WARNING *
This is crack in a jar. Once you taste it you can never go back, never! You'll be catapulted in to a world of addiction you will never have experienced before. You'll be like Gary Lineker hogging the crisps but 1000x worse.

Got some of this at home. Not actually sure how to eat it other than with a spoon out of the jar haha

I thought I would bake with it, but never managed to when spooning it out of the jar was so much more efficient.
