I heard the battery life is pretty good for 4G handset. Only downside is the integral memory size of 8GB.

Great price, paid £50 a couple of months back.
Has NFC which is missing from nearly every cheap Chinese phone. Came into its own when out on a run without any cash and pulled up injured, managed to get some ibuprofen from Boots using android pay
Updated to Marshmallow 6.0 over the air without a problem.
Ok so I bought this for cycling and running so I don't damage my iPhone but for the money (and now even cheaper) it's excellent.

Might be easier to do this the other way around - find out what phone spec is needed to play it reasonably well (as you seem to be on a budget, which is fair enough), then go phone hunting.
You should be able to get this info from the app developer's site &/or their forums.

Decent for the money, Moto E is touch better if you can find one at same price anywhere still.

Mixed reviews on voda's webpage. And only 56% said they would recommend it to a friend.

Though as it was over a hundred quid when it came out that's not necessarily telling. Lot more leeway at this price.

May be worth a punt as a festival phone if the camera isn't utter garbage and the battery life reasonable

Bought this on O2 when it was £49 for my little sis, she's 17 and loves it. Not had any issues with it.

Is there any unlock codes out there?

There are quite lot of sellers offering unlock code from £2.50.
Last year, I got unlock code from here ->http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151207504993. Mine was purchased from EE though.

This mobile may have NFC and if so, may be able to use Android Pay.
Also, anyone know the Android version on this?
The other HUKD for the Vodafone Smart Prime 6 has been mentioned to have NFC too.
Anyone know for sure?

Got this for my mum when it was £59 and thought that this was a brilliant price, this little handset is pretty fast with snapdragon cpu and has a somewhat decent camera for the price. Unfortunately I ended up dropping a coffee container on it which completely destroyed the screen.
Has NFC which is missing from nearly every cheap Chinese phone. Came into its own when out on a run without any cash and pulled up injured, managed to get some ibuprofen from Boots using android pay

I wasn't aware that the phone had an official upgrade to Android 6.0 but thanks for letting me know.
Are you able to merge the external memory card to the 8GB integral memory?

Believe you can (unlike the Sony range I also looked at), haven't bothered with an SD card myself as 8GB is sufficient for Strava and Deezer and a handful of other apps.

Might see if any of these are in a Vodafone shop. I tried ordering the Moto E deal a week and a half ago online, but Vodafone were awful and didn't even bother shipping the phone!
Good to know that Marshmallow is now out for this, which is a deal breaker for me. However, my main reason for wanting this is to get a simple bundle which give European roaming, which VF are currently offering and at the same time, obtain a cheap second handset, just in case my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 were to die.

Android allows merging but I wouldn't recommend it personally, my lg g3 has killed two (not cheap) 64gb sd cards ........ I would recommending using a backup app too....... I use GDriveSync.

Would this be much of a upgrade from a Moto G (1st gen) ? I am concerned about vodafone actually delivering it after reading some of the comments?

only slight downside to me is the display at 480p but the internals should be enough to do most basic tasks. heat
