Not to be confused with the CS series, this is the Lexmark CX310dn Multifunction Colour Laser Printer. Has excellent reviews across the net & is the cheapest price it's ever been at eBuyer & the cheapest price around by quite a margin. The specs on this look amazing, husband has ordered one for his home office after a recommendation from colleagues. I know people will say about the price of inks being expensive, but you can buy cheaper ones from places like stinkyink (will pop link in 1st post). Use code LEXY for this price

I'm not sure if eBuyer purchase will qualify for 4 years warranty, but that's being offered at Misco, on this printer, for £128.39.

Same story with Samsung Laser Printers - cheap to buy super expensive toners to print .
I have looked my self to replace super expensive Samsung color laser printer and looked HP instant ink printer.
what they offer is £3.5 for 100 pages of print per month . Now text to print no point as not much ink used so my text job goes to laser printer and full page photo prints goes to HP printer ..... I have allready used demo ink waiting for Instant inks then will print "+ they are bigger capacity "
Will see how it works just 1 week

Yeah but they also limit the thing so you have to buy a £150 replacement drum after 2000 pages! i managed to chip it from software on eBay but it is getting harder to find stuff. I look at it like this. This is £100 and has replaced two devices. It is big for sure but also not as wide as a Samsung Laser and a printer scanner! I don't print a lot so it has cost me less then replacing the colour toner on my Samsung as they have all run out. If I can't find a deal for toner it has basically paid for itself!

lexmark are good at being very pricey expensive for ink and toner refill and they employ effective chip technology to restrict buying their cartridges. If they give them for free, I won't take it.
Google cloud print on it is a bit of a pain though, airprint worked fantastically.

Seems like a good deal.

Lasers are great for the low user. Months go by and the 'ink' doesn't dry up compared with ink-jets. However, I have a 543dn model and when it eventually came to replace the powder, it was expensive, whether oem or generic. I'd therefore suggest a Dell...

great thing about Lexmark is their ink is regularly greatly reduced in price in the likes of Tesco i have been saving a small fortune using Lexmark for the past year.

What's the difference between this an a photocopier, is it just the speed/amount of copies it can do ?

Would people say this is better than the Dell E525w that was posted yesterday? (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dell-e525w-wireless-colour-laser-printer-scan-adf-139-98-ebuyer-2492750)
I have a Lexmark C534n and while it was good to begin with over time it cost a lot to replace the various bits, and used far more toner than the claimed amount. I also found the Customer Support for Lexmark quite poor.

wouldn't touch one of these with a dogs willy - replacement toners etc cost a bomb and no-one seems to do generic cartridges. Refilling is a faff. and it's big & heavy - ended up taking a perfectly good working printer to the tip for recycling cos no one was interested in it on eBay either - look at the Dell all-in-ones on eBuyer - I got one of those and a full set of colours and blacks can be picked up for around £17 on eBay.

Lexmark's own product page seems to suggest it comes with 1400 page starter toners…
Agreed there, I ended up buying my current Brother printer partly because you simply unplug the cartridges, refill with toner, re-plug, shake, push a pen or some other slim object in one spot to reset and then you're done. Refilled for whatever the cost of the toner itself is.

At £113, it's cheaper to buy another printer (comes with toner that lasts 4000 pages). No, seriously.
I've had this machine for a couple of years and am still using the supplied toner packs. The way forward is to buy toner refills (plus chips) but I've yet to find a reasonably priced supplier.
