why the heck would lenovo make model name so similar?
simply to confuse customer, to trick them buy something they don't want?
so stupid.
The only parameter I care is the resolution. and this one fails.

Lenovo's stupid naming system is confusing. There are 2 tab2 a10's. The 30f and 70f version. Prior has a 1GB ram and 720p screen with lower clock, latter has 2GB with 1080p screen. This is the 30f version. John lewis was selling the far superior 70f version a while back for £110
(Inb4 the time machine gifs, I like to know the lowest price things were sold in the past, not just the latest price)

Decent if its the superior specced model but seems like theirs much confusion?
(its a refurb i know) but Argos still have the 'Acer Iconia A3-A30 Tab 10 10.1 1920x1200/2gb ram/32gb' at £99.99 from a couple of weeks ago
I've got one, it's 2gb ram and 16gb internal storage

this is an error as as far as I can see its the 30-F is only 1GB ram not 2GB. typical Argos error in the description.

This is not an error. We bought one last month and it is a 2GB. See my post.

ah, was just about to order this but although I don't really know about technology, is the 1gb ram issue a deal breaker for this, as otherwise looked a great deal as my samsung tab3 8" screen has a spider fracture, and replacement is expensive? any advice welcomed?

I find that most tablet slowdowns are due to lack of ram so always try and go for at least 2 GB. If this did have 2 I'd go for it myself but if only 1GB I'll give it a miss.

Even the Argos website wqs wrong when I went to pick up the higher model with 1920x1080 screen resolution. They shrugged me off saying we can't do anything and if you want the lower version or not.

I've seen your post - nowhere do you prove that its 2Gb - even the Argos staff in Q&A section say its 1Gb
Please provide a screenshot of the settings - otherwise i'll believe everything else i've read about this tab and it's 1Gb not 2

1280x800 is ok for a phone, but on a tablet, especially one as large as this one, I find it very unsatisfying. Full HD would be my minimum, and you can get it at nearly the same price point.

There are a few different models of the tab2 a10 so
be careful. I bought the a10-70 full HD model 2gb ram and it is a great tablet with awsome battery life, but it is floating about £148_ £179

Looks like they did do a model with 1280 x 800 resolution with 2gb ram. Mine is the 1920 x 1200 screen 2gb model purchased from tesco at £119.99

It does when you consider a v500 can be picked up for only £70 which comes with a 2 year warranty. The only issue with the v500 is finding one in good enough condition.

Hudl 2, again an 8.3" model so not quite as big. Seen it new and used on a certain auction site for under 100.00. The only thing is it'll come with an older ROM (KitKat 4.4.2) but I'd take that over this one's appalling display which is the same as a Chinese Allwinner 31s model I bought. at over 10" screen size the poor resolution really shows. If you visit sites like GearBest and don't mind a slightly longer wait you will find plenty of tablets that outshine this one in every way, brand new and cheaper.
