I have bought this wine in the past when Aldi were out of stock of their malbec.
It was ok not quite add nice add the aldi one but not bad, however it has not been on the shelves since even at full price.
Heat for price though.

This wine was £4-37 and then got voted the best wine in the world earlier this year.
As soon as everyone saw this everybody was buying it. The shelves were empty for a few weeks then it returned for a £1.50 more!
Still cheap but there's an example of creating a demand then increase the price!
I have had this wine many-a-time and its nice. Not my favourite and by no means the worst I've ever had. For the price it is a good one to have stocked up in your "cellar"!!!

I've just finished a bottle. It's a good wine, well worth £4.37. I can't agree with the Decanter magazine awarding it 'best wine under £15' though. If I had any self-control I'd get a couple of cases and save them until Christmas.

It's not good. Full of sulphites... Better spend 6£ on Argentinian Malbec...

I love a good Malbec but wouldn't give Argentina the steam off my s**t !

So which Malbec do you recommend? And which country is it from?

Not a fan of this label's Malbec at all, has a weird aftertaste. Prefer their Merlot and Pinot Noir.

I took the last bottle from Asda Chandlers Ford last night. For a £4.50 Malbec it's a decent buy and certainly worthy of note. Best red under £15 might be stretching it a little though. Still there's what I like, and what I can afford.

Finally managed to get some yesterday. Tried after the Daily Mail article linked to above came out and no chance.
