Must admit, we had this and usually my kids eat scampi... This stuff they turned their nose up at, I then tried it and its pretty awful. Never bought another pack of the stuff..
Kiltie.. no thank you

I bought some last week and I thought they were fine. I'm not sure what price we paid but I did have tartar sauce with them.
And mushy peas.

first post "manky and inedible", second post "so called scampi" obviously I misunderstood the tone of the comments.

Where did I slate the deal in my second post? I didn't slate the deal again, I pointed people in the direction of other people's opinion of the product when the product had previously been on offer.

Sounds vile, recently fell out with a local cafe for selling me crap like this, advertised as Scampi on the menu - under the breadcrumbs was a grim grey/pink semi solid slush. I love actual scampi, but this crap should be avoided if you love your family.

My comment was tongue in cheek if you read it properly, the other person posted up stating a dislike of the product which is fair enough and then felt the need to slate the deal again and thats not full on?
thanks for your input :man:

More than 1 in 5 scampi products were found to contain pangasius catfish
The metre-long beasts are bred in sprawling aquatic farms in Vietnam
They are largely devoid of taste but are used to bulk out the langoustine tails
