There's a brand in Morrisons called Proper Nutty which do are 100% nut with no palm oil or additives. Seen in Derby store so presume mostly countrywide

If anyone's interested in a decent peanut butter, Aldi do a Specially Selected jar for £1.99 which contains 92% peanuts

Agreed the aldi specially selected is the best peanut butter I've ever had bar none. It even keeps longer than the brand leaders and didn't develop that rancid taste. Not cheap mind you but worth it.

I actually prefer the peanut butter with palm oil I keep the whole earth brand in my cupboard myself.

ASDA value band peanut butter used to be 100% peanuts... then they changed the recipe and added the palm oil etc. Pah. So these days the only thing is Meridian... who have sometimes cheaper non-glass platsic tubs (bigger size).
I would've stuck with ASDA forever though at only 50p a jar. Too bad they stopped making it. Send a complaint to ASDA on their website never heard back. Who are these people who do this? I want to know how much extra profit they think they'll get adding palm oil when pure peanuts are already cheap enough.

Agree. I'm trying to locate cashew butter for a reasonable price due to a peanut allergy. Thought I'd found the answer in M&S but looking at the ingredients of their cashew butter it contains 4% peanuts, probably to reduce the cost but that rules it out for me. Frustrating!

!00% for 50p !!! Jezz... will be checking anyway just in case !
Why would they change the balance based of the size of the jar?!?!? 91% isn't the worst ever though... still and all, Lidl and Aldi still have the edge.

Anyone tell me the nutrition on this on oil and sugar? Lidl and Aldi have the lowest in that department from what I've found so far.

Been this price for years ! Great taste too but get the green tops not blue as green are crunchy.
