Found the detergent to be a waste of time to be honest cleans just as good with the lance.

I like to leave it soak for a while with detergent, and then blast off with the lance (without detergent).

Kelar, you can actually wash most everyday dishes without detergent quite successfully. Obviously not heavily baked-on oven wear! But good buy for those that use it. Wish I could find their window cleaning fluid on offer!
