Good price but 16gb is so infuriating, after a while unless you move everything to cloud it becomes useless to most nowadays.

will add as other will, in our house we have a couple of 16Gb ones and no issues even with all of the kids apps, only time I have any issues is when I go away with work and add videos on sky or iplayer. Now if you want loads of music and videos then yes 16 isn't enough but we keep our music on an ipod touch and thats the real issue as thats just not big enough and I refuse to by something bigger but then again its all down to how you manage them. same with ipads manage them correctly and they do work.

sorry but thats loads on nonsense.
sure 16GB is minimum and 64GB would be so much nicer, and it can be bought via same deal for around £403 instead if £303 (last time I checked).
but I got the 16GB abd have every app I want (60 Apps) at least 100 photos and few videos, and yet I have 4GB left.
and I haven't even used iCloud storage yet (5GB free ir 50GB for just 79P a month)
16GB is perfectly fine unless you want to archive your music collection and years of photos in your phone.

nope. if you google 'how does o2 refresh work' all will become clear my friend. You're effectively paying 39.99 plus 11 x 24 to buy the phone outright at the start. The airtime contract ends and you'll need a sim only deal to use in the phone.

Like my previous comment, I would suggest waiting for the inevitable new iPhone(s) announcement and release in September in a months time, will surely impact prices of all older versions

4 Aug 16#16
not convinced it's a worthwhile deal, for me anyway.
the iPhone 6 was £190 on refresh very recently. I don't think an extra £110 justifies the difference in the model, particularly when we can all be fairly confident there's a newer version out in ~6 weeks which would impact price of current/previous models.

Waiting to get an iPhone since my HTC One M8 is getting faulty, would recommended anyone else too also at least wait till September where they'll announce and release new iPhone(s) thus price drops on older models.

I have 60 Apps everything that I need and many photos and still 4GB left.
there is also icloud drive.
£303 is bargain for this like new phone and arguing about 16GB is just silly.

4 Aug 16#31
Can't state that it's nonsense, snapchat alone can amass a few gb, offline playlists on Spotify will eat it up and it's never 16gb, more like 11gb once the OS updates are in place.
60 apps is fine if they're basic, try 60 3D games. All I said was that you'll find yourself having to back to cloud as you mentioned yourself. Few minute long recordings can take up hundreds of mb, again.. Without backing these to cloud. It'll be a nuisance.

If you want 60 3D games you should look for the 64GB or 128GB models really.
the point is,there are options there for a reason.
some people make it sound 16GB is the only option or that no one can get by with 16GB.
this price is an absolut bargain,at least £100 bellow ebay prices(contract phones that have block risk)
I don't get the whining about storage, anyone who needs more space pay more and get either 64 ir 128 GB model.
Last tine this o2 deal was on,64GB was £404 and 128GB was £434.

Crossbow to rpampana
4 Aug 16#43
Not really, they know several people know & use this 'trick' - if not they would've closed this 'loophole' a long time ago. They always choose a price where they'll be in profit with just the device plan paid off.
They sometimes sell these 'like new' phones for a similar price with a one-off payment on PAYG (unlocked even), which proves my point.

when Apple tells their fan boys that their 8mp cam is as good as others 16mp cam and their dual core processor is as good as others quad core processor then is that not stupid enough for you stupid Apple fan boys to believe it.

bring me a proof that Apple said that,a real article not from your sore bum imaginations,or else be quiet and get out of this topic.
what they said was that their os is much less resource hungry than android, therefore performs better on lower ram and lower spec than android on same spec, thats a proven fact.they also said quality of the photo is determined by quality of camera sensor not just by number of mega pixels.also a proven fact that all photographers can confirm.
but some people are stupid and will only see numbers and think higher number means better experience.

Does anyone have any tips on getting the SIM unlocked quickly on O2? My phone is arriving today and my old one is bricked/not recognizing the SIM. I'd like to get my new one up and running as soon as possible.
I've heard some different advice about unlocking on O2 as below:
(1) Unlock through form here (takes up to 7 days)
(2) Unlock through My O2 Online / O2 App (24 - 48 hours??)
(3) Use a 3 SIM to unlock straight away (I read there could be issues with registering the phone with iTunes on iPhone through this method)
I am a bit wary about using the third method - don't want to get it wrong.
I am leaning towards the quickest way - on My O2 Online. Is there any down side to choosing this method over the online form (method 1) ?
Cheers!

Basically you'll receive a email saying your phones been unlocked, you don't actually need to even connect to iTunes nowadays. You just pop any other network sim into the phone and a pop up will appear saying 'unlock successful' or something along those lines and your sorted
