best of luck. You guys have more chance of getting something out of this as it's direct with the network rather than the Note 7 thread dealing with Car Fraud Wherephone.

My order confirms £15,99 but asks to call EE which I have for the last 35mins, definitely a pricing error confirmed when processed comes to £55.99 and no discount applied. Calling me back to confirm, Oh well I tried!
Are EE & e2Save marketing department being run by the same person?

Just spoken with EE.. They won't honour the deal and I've cancelled the order.

That's a shame. Was worth a shot anyway.
EE has honoured misprices in the past, though. Anyone remember the free T-Mobile monthly SIM a few years back? That was good for those who managed to get it.

it's a either ploy to get people intetested and visit their website or its a genuine screw up. I personally think it's deliberate.

Has anyone asked if they did a credit check? I think there is some mileage in this - did they offer to put it through at full price?

same with me, don't know whether to call or not?
Anybody got advice?

Hi, what would it mean if they did credit check, or offer it at full price?

Did those whove spoken to ee ring them themselves? Or did you get a call from them? Just checked my bank as well no usual credit check transactions either.. Not looking good

I rang them at 10am as I got the email to call. They said they needed to do a credit check and they'd call back later. They never authorised the £2 during checkout, it was only during the call that this was done.
Also during checkout when it came to the 'Equifax questions' it just skipped it and said there's no questions needed. How bizarre!

theres no hope of this being honoured i dont think, i answered all the equifax questions, no transactions on my banking, just tried to ring but theyre closed... we will see what tomorrow brings

I went to the ee shop because I got no email confirmation, who put me on a phone to the online team - won't honour it.
I specifically asked if a credit check had been performed, and he maintained that some simple verification check is used to check certain details with equifax, but not a credit check - so no trace left on my credit score.
I also asked about removing all my details from their systems, as it felt like they were just harvesting customer personal data by not honouring the deal...... nada. Started mumbling about "data.... protection .... terms and conditions blah". Ended the call.

Anyone who hasn't already rang EE to have the order cancelled, I suggest you do so now.
This morning I got an order confirmation stating it is due for delivery tomorrow, but at £55.99!

If they despatch then under contract law they have accepted you order at the price quoted so should honour it.

I think it's their hope that you didn't notice the higher price & just accept the item. :disappointed:
It's their T&Cs which allows this 'misprice' to occur regularly with some retailers, some might even call it marketing exercise. There are repeated offenders. :stuck_out_tongue:
I believe the transaction has not completed completely because you had to wait for the confirmation. This is quite clear in law, e.g. the transaction is not completed until you walked off the shop floor; thus it's possible for the manager to cancel the transaction.

I've not had any contact from them at all, if it turns up I certainly will not be paying £55.99 a month.

I rang them up last week and they told me that they will not honour the deal and today I had email:
Personally thinking to complain about EE, as the following:
1) No sorry for their f*ck up
2) No compensation for wasting my time - filling the form and sharing my personal information on their website
3) No call or email about the order as all staff in customer service center are busy and again I wasted my time to call them
4) Personally disappointed as how they guarantee that the prices on their website are right? any order can be cancelled depends on their staff mood.

All sorted now, I have to refuse delivery but a refund for the £29.99 upfront payment should be in my account within 5working days. Staff were very apologetic and professional about it.
Maybe if I'd held out after the 14days returns had finished they may have honoured it, although this is still unlikely.

I think they send you a confirmation before despatch at the higher price. So if you accept the item, then I guess, it's at this 'new' price.

Unless they point out the increase and ask you if you still want to proceed, I can't see how they could enforce this.

Just had the phone call, I had placed an order and did I want to proceed. Denied any knowledge of a mis-price.
