I found these in Home Bargains today. 3 hot wheels car pack for £2.99. Lots of different packs available.
After a quick google, seems these packs are normally sold outside the UK and only single packs or 6 pack sold here.
They are great for birthday presents for your children's friends or to stash away for xmas!

They are also $1 in the states so we came back with loads from over there (this is still a decent enough deal though)

It's even less of a deal when you realise hotwheels are generally 1 Euro across europe. we bought heaps in Germany a few months back :P
Also singles are better for picking and choosing the best cars.

im still waiting for Argos to drop them to 49p each!. Currently at Argos though, you can get 2 packs of 9 cars for £15 (not sure if the packs would be exactly the same though)

I'm lost... Hot Wheels cars are always available for £1 / 99p... So £2.99 for 3 is not a hot deal...?!

In my local b&m it's £1 (or 99p) for one £2.99 for three and £4.99 for five. The three pack I last bought seemed more plasticity than the normal ones and had an older date on them too.
