Don't think they deliberately made hdr available only over USB, hdmi specs changed from 2.0 to 2.0a. Hisense along with other manufacturers were slow off the mark and put some of their 2015/16 models out with 2.0 ports leaving the option of updating to 2.0a with a firmware update.

Mine arrived yesterday. Not had chance to amend any settings yet. I thought I spotted a line of clouding at the bottom of the screen however I guess this is pretty common for edge lit LED TV's. It may have just been the programme that I was watching. I will see how I get on with it. Has anyone managed to find any calibration settings for this set ?

The bloke on YT claims that this set supports 60Hz Chroma 4:4:4 but he used a DP to hdmi adapter to connect it to his laptop. Has anyone actually managed to get it to output 4k at 60Hz with Chroma 4:4:4 via normal hdmi cable? 30Hz 4:4:4 works just fine. It just doesn't want to do Chroma 4:4:4 even when using hi quality hdmi lead (18 gbps, 4k 60Hz capable) and GTX 970. One of the users (pumauk) in the Argos thread couldn't get it to work and sent his back.

Has anyone wall mounted this. I used m6 screws the top went in fine however the bottom screws while tight just feel like they are screwed in to plastic. What length screw did you use as can't find a length. Don't want it to fall off the stand.

Yes there is. Left hand side between the USB and HDMI sockets.

Spoke to hisense today. Apparently 5 people have asked the same question this month so they are passing it to the tech team and it may come in a software update in the future.

It's the same with Virgin Media Tivo box, 1080i is the best for now. It does have 1080p pass trough but you need to have a tv that can display 1080p @25fps

What are the dimensions in length? Also the length from one leg to the other? I'm not sure if this would fit in the space I have.

Most likely perfectly normal as some Freeview channels use 1080i instead of 1080P so probably nothing to worry about, try changing between the HD channels and see if the TV detects 1080P on any or else try opening an app that you know uses 1080P like Netflix or Youtube and see if the TV can read 1080P on them.

Great tv. However does anyone know if you can reorder they built in apps. Or reassign the Netflix button in the remote to another app. Want easy access to the plex app without having to press the right arrow 10 times.

Thank you . I wonder if anyone has one connected to this box who knows for certain... The BT site is cagey in that only very few sets are listed as compatible. In theory yes it checks out but with the thousands of HUKD'ers who have commented and voted surely someone has connected it to this specific box...... Please......

I don't have this set personally so can't answer 100% but have been carefully reviewing the information on here and some independent reviews and everything I have seen suggests that it should work fine since the TV supports the two fundamental UHD standards of HMDI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, which most (if not all) UHD AV kit (like your youview box) needs to work.

Hi All
I have read and read comments on this TV and (forgive me if I've missed it) I cannot find a definite answer to this question:
Will this TV work with a BT YouView+ UltraHD box?
"HDMI 2.0, be HDCP 2.2 compliant, and support 2160p50 over the same port" - is what BT state on their site.
If I have missed this please forgive me but I can't see it confirmed anywhere!!
Thank you .

After doing a bit more reading I can see that both models are 60hz and the 800 value refers to the Smooth Motion Rate value of both models.
Can anyone recommend a decent sound bar to go with this and what will be needed to connect it. Thx

Was the refurb you bought on eBay from this seller: electrofarm_wastecare? I ask as they seem to do them quite regular and pretty cheap too. However, you do compromise on warranty (only 3 months) and of course they are refurbished too. I managed to get one of these down to £230 delivered with best offer and giving it some serious thought. The only thing holding me back is the limited warranty and the fact it would be a slight downgrade in screen size from my 1080P 47" set.
How did you find the refurbished one you bought? Was the condition perfect like new or were there some imperfections like marks or scratches?
Really on the fence with this one....

Seems ludicrous that they would NOT think you might want to have HDR capability on the HDMI ports! If anything would be better if they had left it off the USB as it is virtually pointless on there seeing as no AV equipment connects via USB (for display purposes). I know you can plug in USB sticks and the like but internet downloaded videos are unlikely to support HDR or even be in 4K....
Still putting that aside and with the priviso that they do eventually make this set fully HDR on ALL inputs then this is probably about the cheapest way to get a 4k and HDR supporting set.
In the short to medium term I see HDR as being important since 4K is still very expensive both in terms of processing/GPU power for gaming and bandwidth for transmission and internet streaming video. Therefore, I think we could well see HDR used as a intermediary possibly with 1080P rather than full 4K to give better than normal full HD quality but more cheaply than true 4k.
The Xbox One S already does this with select games having HDR but only at 1080P....

Cheers for that. I'm never too confident on the Amazon Questions and Reviews as they seem to lump all HiSense TVs together as if they were the same product. And, no, it wasn't the length of the feet I was interested in, just teh distance apart at their widest. I see EvoUK has stated 80cm at widest so, maybe, the 90cm Amazon quoted is, indeed, for a different set?
Thanks all

its 60 Hz have this TV ,Amazon have been known to put up misleading specs and waiting till customers says its wrong has happened to me before ,after getting items from them , but their customer service is so great you forgive this here is the link to manufacturer specs 800 is the manufacture motion rate something to do with additional picture processing technology (nothing to do with the panel refresh rate )to make it smoother , apparently more of a marketing gimmick !! https://hisense.co.uk/electronics/tvs/h43m3000/spec

Cheers. The description of their video actually says "to use this and any 60hz 4K TV to it's fullest", so I guess that confirms it is indeed 60hz and not 800hz.
cheers but the hisense site says the m300 is 60hz. The fact that amazon list it as a 1080p pixel count also casts doubts over their claim that this set is 800mhz.
