The single player is great, and is a fantastic bargain at this price, not just "ok". Lot's of people like me couldn't care less about multiplayer, and this game is a must have for those if you have any sort of interest in Halo or shooters. Worth it just for the improvements they've done to Halo 2 at this price, everything else being cherries on top really.

this game sucks as multiplayer does Not work and they know about it too. if you enjoy the single player stuff then it's ok at this price but if your after a good battle on team slayer think again. I have rang Microsoft support and they directed me to 343 where I had to post on the forums as couldnt find a phone nimber. I posted and all I got back was alot of other people saying the game is too bugged and the devs cannot fix it and it's been like it since it was released. there is people posting about it on reddit too.

£5 for the 4 Halo campaigns is insane.

Buy Halo 5 if you want to play Halo online. I've only had it since Tuesday but it is a return to form, much better than Halo 4 online, slightly better than Halo Reach online and probably level with Halo 3 online.

True, but everyone is in a different position. I only switch on the Xbox when the lads come round for a console session to play multiplayer. So I am only interested in split-screen multi-player. If that is broken, then there is no value in the game for me.

Yes amo splitscreen has terrible lag spikes. and it's crashed on me a few times..

I have bought and played the entire series. I still own them all for my xbox and 360 too. sometimes I even get my old xbox's out and play halo 2 over lan. I also enjoyed completing halo 4 LASO with my wife. for me multiplayer is the only reason I play and sadly this game does not provide that. I can play campaign by using any of my older consoles fine.

Me and my mate have been making our way through the games via remote coop and split screen. We only had the odd issue with the remote coop when XBL was playing up. Nothing to do with the game. The difficulty on halo 2 legendary coop is mental and far harder than the original game was though.

I've a couple of friends who link on all the Halo games in this collection via internet multiplayer and they have no problems - not aware of any issues.

I played multiplayer on this yesterday and I had absolutely no problems with matchmaking, lag, or anything of the sort. Take a look at https://reddit.com/r/halo if you want to keep up to date with the goings on of the Halo franchise as the forums are a bit rubbish.

No it is a separate DLC purchase (was free for people who bought and played this early on as compensation for multiplayer issues but that ended a long time ago)

I tried last month and couldn't get online to any matches across all the games. also I have halo 5 but have not played it yet. Ive been wanting to play shotguns and swords on acsension like the old days. but no luck always says found match then 30 seconds later it restarts the scan.. as far as I know that map is not on halo 5? I may be wrong as like I say I have not played it yet. my xbox one is connected via gigabit ethernet and I'm on virgin fibre 200mins down and 11 mb up. all other games are fine though and so is my gaming pc which connects to the Internet via the same ethernet switch 1gbit.

I don't have it, but I was wondering the same because it would annoy me if it didn't. I found gameplay footage on YouTube and it appears in the game menu under Halo 3, next to the Halo 3 Campaign. You can see here starting at 0:59 (link should go directly to 0:59).

XO is too full right now or would take a punt on this. Bought Quantum Break the other day and on top of 50GB install there's a 75GB DLC! I don't even know what's in it!
