I initiallylly read this as "Freshly Baked Lidl Toffee. Yum yum!"
It sounded much more exciting.

I read it as freshly baked tofu. I was even more underwhelmed.

Imo, these could be better, a real yum yum is what greggs do for example, that's how they should be.

I've never seen them in Lidl before. They aren't listed on the Lidl bakery section online either. The price is marked down from 59p to 49p. I guess it's a promo offer.

None left in my store this morning. Plenty of Muffin Tops who probably scoffed them though.

Have to agree. I used to work at Lidl's for over two years. Nothing in store is freshly baked. It's either frozen and then defrosted or frozen then baked in the oven. Still though some of their bakery stuff is not bad. The muffins are gorgeous

So bread etc should not be refrozen? Never seen a sign in store, although my bakery purchases are usually the scrummy apple turnovers, vanilla crowns and pain au raisin

I must confess I eat these I have seen something similar in a so called more upper class shop for around £1.40 Goes well with a coffee and is obviously high in calories but the taste is worth it Frozen or not it's lush
