As funny now as when it came out. Great price for the quantity of DVD's.

It's held up surprisingly well, a true gem of a show that sadly does decline once the Niles marriage forms, but still 6+ seasons of comedy gold.

Same thing happened with Big Bang Theory in my opinion. And Friends. Shows jumping the shark, a sad thing.

Top notch. Easily one of the best sitcoms ever made - hard to think of better.

The problem is success = money, they don't know when to stop. The per episode wages for each of the actors in The Big Bang are nauseatingly high. I don't blame people for wanting money the problem is always knowing when to stop. Fawlty Towers is legendary as they did only two series of 6 episodes and there was a 4 year gap between the two series. This would be unheard of now. Each season (as we Americanise everything) comprises at least 13 episodes, the USA consistently churns out high quality drama as they will screen test episodes and rewrite scripts.
Having said this I thought Mr Robot season 1 was terrific, season 2 has essentially turned in to a 'aren't we clever?' psycobabble sh*tf*st, season 2 has killed it before it really took off. Not sure how much more I can endure of Mr Robot.

You are most very welcome...never seen the set this cheap and suspect you'd be hard pushed to find many series that are made today that will stand the test of time the way Frasier has done...seen all the episodes several times and it still makes me laugh...admittedly the later series weren't as good as the earlier ones but still worth a watch.

I wish they would Blu Ray this, greatest sitcom of all time IMO.
Always thought Friends was massively over rated tbh, wouldn't even make it in to my top 20 sitcoms.
Heat for this deal anyway.

Glad it's not just me with Mr Robot...thought I was totally missing something as really enjoyed Season 1 but have now got to the stage with Season 2 that I feel like every episode is more of an endurance test than an enjoyment

A dvd box set hasn't got this hot since before Blair was PM. Well done OP. Seinfeld... (Friends? Are you having a giraffe? Don't think I've ever watched a full episode, the poor quality acting is only matched by the terrible scriptwriting.)

I do apologise, I'm new here and obviously missed the 'must not hold a different opinion to kay1992' rule.

Yes but this could also be their one payday. So they have to assume it as such. Friends cast earned £1m per episode towards the end. But what did they go on to do afterwards? Not much.
