Thanks! Ordered today and got the confirmation through about an hour later (order went to pending once made, possibly due to the discount code).
The website struggled to proceed passed the basket on my windows pc using Chrome and IE, but it worked when I used an iPad.

Had same problem, went to collect my order from store as email said order ready. Thin bag opened in store and just a chocolate bar. The girl serving me could not believe it and thought I was playing some sort of trick.
She phoned boots.com and they said there was a glitch with the online orders as they actually had no stock. She then stated they now had stock and she kindly ordered me one into store and honoured the price collected that one today and thanked the store for help.

Cool, glad they helped, sounds like you were as shocked as I was with the thin Jiffy bag! I've reordered for home delivery, they only stated the blue strap version was in stock when I went on line on Thursday so ordered that instead of Black strapped one. Money taken from account and email today saying its been despatched. I think Boots have a thing or two to learn about online selling and provide an email to say if an item is out of stock before you try and collect!

Went to collect yesterday from local Boots Click and Collect. Slim jiffy bag with a Choc Energy Bar free sample , no Blaze. Docket said no stock in warehouse, card hasn't been debited, shows out of stock. I received confirmation of order and text to collect so its a funny way to run an online shop! No email to apologise for situation.

You will be fine in driving rain but no swimming. Properly showerproof. For example you are asked to clean regularly.

You'll have to look at Garmin to get waterproof - none of the fitbits are which is strange

These Blaze ones are not too accurate with HRM and notifications are still in 1992 - just calls, SMS (text messages) and calendar - I am just hoping they add support for all the other notification types. Also, GPS is via phone, not in-built.
What are the better options? I am not too sure, but Microsoft Band v1 or even v2 look like better alternatives in some ways. Microsoft Health app is not the most sexy one - but sleep tracking is better (a few params more displayed)

there are also skype, whatsapp, and google hangouts notifications.
Unless you're going on a long ass run without a phone, GPS is unnecessary.

How does this compare with the Sony smart watch which has built-in gps for £89.99 @currys? Not sure which one to buy.

Blaze review states it's not waterproof - possibly a deal breaker for this part of the world.

Unless you are in Atlantis you are fine. It's splash proof, sweat proof etc but not swim proof.

Kellogs are doing one free with X purchases of cereal plus £3.99 postage.
Think its only about 2 or 3 boxes.

Try xiaomi mi band 2 from banggood or gearbest for about £30. Pros- cheap, waterproof, good battery life, different colour bands for about £3.00. Cons- Doesn't always sync easily with android unless it's 5.0 or higher(was great with iPad/iPhone)

For under £50 you could look at the Garmin Vivofit. My Dad rates his & wears it all the time.

Google fit is pretty accurate if you keep your phone with you throughout the day. Install it from the play store and it doesn't cost a penny.

Picked up a Withings Pulse Ox for £29 from Amazon warehouse, looks alright, very accurate for me, and auto syncs, battery lasts for 5-10 days, bargain for under 50 imo.
If you dont like the rubber band style straps get the nice leather one ^^

Nice device, my lad wanted a fitness tracker for his birthday and I got him this, part fitness tracker, part 'smart' watch. Looks good, nice screen, sensible size, lots of features. The only thing I would like to see included would be built in GPS (it can use phone GPS).
Recommended from me.

Yeah, I tried one on the other day. It's a bit smaller than the surge but more of a fashion watch / smart watch / activity tracker.
