Personally I loved suffering bouts of malaria as my weapons fell into useless pieces in my hands

No way I think being a caveman and chasing around mammoths with flints is by far the best Far Cry ever. Who's with me!!!

Hated this game

The worst game in the Far Cry series by a country mile, definitely one to avoid if you liked Far Cry and Far Cry 3.

i can't remember which far cry i recently got but was bored of hunting animals.

Installed it again just to recall how annoying it was. Got stuck in the starting room (after the malaria collapse, trucked off somewhere). Well known glitch - seems my PC is too good for the game. None of those suggestions worked.
Uninstalled. Also happy I didn't waste more time on this.

Didn't warm to this like FC3.

The original with Jack Carver is still teh best. Bit dated now though.
